One of my favourite movies, thanks in part to David Bowie's awesome performance and those damned Jim Henson muppets.

What are your opinions of this masterpiece?

I actually just watched the movei for the first time last month. My housemate had a VHS recording from TV. It was missing the first few minutes (I think...) but that was it.

Anyways, I liked it. It was different. I used love watching the Muppets on TGFI. David Bowie did creep me out though...

Oh! I got the DVD version of it for my housemate's birthday...She does not know this, since it is next week.

I was just thinking about this movie the other day. I hate singing in movies, but nonetheless I love Labyrinth...it's like some sort of paradox or something.

Maybe it's because Jennifer Connelly is in it...

Gotta love the "Escherian" staircase room!

Its my cousins favourite film and my ex's most feared! I myself am not too bothered about it. The only thing that freaked me out was the room where there are loads of stairs all over the place, David Bowies walking around, as is the baby! Totally freaked me out.

That's why I mentioned M.C. Escher. You should do a search for some of his work! Freaky, freaky!

You just reminded me. Although the film is excellent, the only thing that ruins it slightly for me is David Bowie's bulging crotch. Go and watch a scene with Jareth in - you'll see what I mean. The thing is everywhere.

Indeed, strange pairing, but a good one nonetheless.

Since you mentioned "A C. O.," I never really got the ending. I guess I'll use tags: So he's quite a bastard, and ends up getting his just desserts after being turned on by his gang and experimented on, etc... but then he's given total reprieve and lives happily whatever or something? Huh?

I saw this movie in my 8th grade English class and we found it very funny. I remember that there was this one part where David Bowie does this hump sort of move while he's dancing and everyone started laughing xD
