The FFXI server went down for days and days on end, Im talking about a few weeks.

how would you cope?

what would you play instead?

Well, it has been down for a few days one time, ages ago.

I'd just do something else. It's not hard to break away from FFXI.

If I couldnt play for a month I'd want the money for that month back.

Then, I'd probably do what I do now.. I dont play the game very often and most of my time is spent crafting now.

Yeah I'd get my money back and in the meantime read or play Kingdom Hearts II (soon to be FFXII!).

Normally, my answer would be that I would go about business as usual. I haven't been addicted to that game - or have even logged on, for that matter - for a very long time.

But in my experience, the server never goes down until I want absolutely nothing more than to play FFXI. This is probably why I never play - I only want to when there's maintenance.

So I guess my answer is that I would become very angry and throw things. I would refuse to play anything else, because I'm really that rebellious.

I don't think that it would affect me very much, but I'd wonder if they were experiencing severe technical difficulties and if my character, server, and credit card information was safe.

A lot of other stuff, since FF11's a side-game for me at best.

If the server went down I swear I would have Final Fantasy withdraws.
Thats worse than any other kind of withdraw somebody could go through.

What would i play in its stead? Socom or Rome Total War

I dunno about that No.78 ... i love to play as much as i can ... while i know that i am not "Addicted" i am close to that point or maybe just obsessed about finishing what i start ... dunno.

Either way i agree with Omecle, FFXI has great potential to beat out crack and smack and find a nice nitch with the A.A. crowd ... coffee my arse!

I guess it's hard to ignore when it's like "ooh i must check my plants/chocobo" or whatever... But now I don't give 2 /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifs about me chocobo lol, so I just play whenever I feel like it :P

I will play other Games...Like Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas(the only Game I think I will go crazy if it ever Broke or stop Working),Metal Gear Solid,Tekken 5....or just go play the other Final Fantasy..Or just get High, U feel Me lol! Fuego Know!!
