This is a question I read in the Daily Mail and I wanna pop it in here too :)
In a battle between Bruce Lee and Mike Tyson... who would win? :eek: Assume this is when Tyson was the best fighter in the world.
Bruce Lee might be faster and quicker and could tire Mike Tyson out in the ring... but Mike Tyson's punches would do some SERIOUS damage when they connected. And failing that... Mike Tyson could always chew Bruce Lee's ear off :chuckle: :barf:
But who do you think would win this fight? I'm putting my cash, probably wastefully, on Mike Tyson. His raw power might win the Fight.

Bruce Lee is fast and quick and knows ancient arts.
Mike Tyson can just pack a punch. However he might attempt to bite his ear off. 0_0

The beating Mike Tyson would take from Bruce Lee would make me post it in the ultimate fight scenes thread.
If Tyson got even a sniff of a chance to connect on Bruce, he'd destroy him. Same applies in reverse, though. If Bruce connected with something and got inside of Tyson's range, then he'd pull him apart.

You are kidding right? Bruce Lee, no contest. Tyson's a lumbering block of muscle. Lee's got the technique. One punch and it'd be over, but only if Lee wished Tyson to die a quick and painless death. That was the beauty of Bruce, he couldn't just kick your ass, he could make your last two days on Earth agony.

From my experience as a high school fight watcher the craziest person always wins, so Mike Tyson would most likely win this fight. Especially since Bruce Lee is dead.

Bruce Lee, hands down. Even Mike Tyson couldn't bring Bruce down with a single punch, that punch would give time for Bruce to shred Tyson to pieces. Too bad Bruce Lee died, his son too, The Crow was an awesome movie.

Well Tyson is just a boxer right? At least Bruce isn't limitted to what body parts he can use... And weaponry, etcetera. I think Tyson should just run away now...
But yeah, Bruce Lee being dead is a major disadvantage XD

Mike Tyson isn't even half the fighter Bruce is. There is no way Tyson could even do the workout routine Bruce did, let alone beat him in a fight. Bruce Lee would obviously win.

The whole reason why Mike Tyson talks like a girl is because he looked at Bruce Lee the wrong way.

Bruce Lee is quick, but probably won't hit as hard as Mike Tyson, and Mike Tyson could takes big hits as a boxer at his weight catagory. I think it'd be a draw, Bruce Lee would hit more often although Mike Tyson would hit harder and less often, it would really depend on who can take a bigger beating, and my must admit knowing a lot about boxing, my money's on Mike.

And he was in better shape than Tyson.
And he was also a boxer.
And he could kick.
And he was faster.
And he dedicated every single second of his days to conditioning himself.

I'm wondering who suddenly lost all reasoning and voted for Mike Tyson.
That makes absolutely no sense, particularily when Lee's movements were so fast that the human eye and camera couldn't keep up with them, not to mention the fact that a quick side kick can deliver around 1500 lbs of force.
A punch can kill a man, but a kick with Lee's speed creates oblivion.

First and foremost, underrated about Mike Tyson is his defense. That, combined with his tendency to knock out opponents in just a few hits makes him damn well more than capable of beating Bruce Lee.

You'd be amazed at how much power smaller guys like Bruce Lee can generate with their kicks and punches. Make no mistake that someone who trained in martial arts as Bruce did could easily put enough power into their shots to make a guy like Tyson feel it pretty quick. Regardless of how well Tyson can take a punch or a kick, it all adds up, especially since Bruce would be hitting him fast and hard.
Bruce Lee, no contest.

Why Mike Tyson that psycho, against Bruce LEE1? Of course he would lose if you could've said a better boxer like Muhhamud Ali and still he would lose anyway too, but he's better than Mike Tyson.
