View Full Version : Should guys wear Make-Up?

The Devil Man

As your friend Devil Man writes this Post, he also looks at his mirror. For in this mirror is a truly wonderous thing of beauty, something so astonishingly amazingly fantastic, it takes his breath way.

In this mirror is... a reflection of Devil Man

And right now... he looks stunning!

For as you are all too well aware by now, Devil Man had a busy night last night. He kissed many, many, many, many, MANY girls and danced the magical evening away. He was drenched in a sea of kisses...

And now... his face and neck is covered in lipstick. And his cheeks are heavily covered in women's make-up...

Devil Man looks hot! He wants to make love to himself!

So Devil Man's topic is... should guys wear make-up? Is it ever acceptable for a guy to be wearing some make-up?

Devil Man thinks it is ok. It will help a guy be more in touch with his feminine side...

But what do YOOOOOOOU think!?

If they are actors, it's very normal to wear makeup while on stage/set.

If they feel like it, then yes. I can see no problem with it - it's their choice and not mine.

I think it'd be cool to see some guys who has dark brown eyes with black on their eyes... I think it looks hot like that :D but no lipstick! :D

For just everyday use, no no no no. If they're actors, as Samuraid said, it's okay, but that doesn't really come up very often for normal people.

If they want to, I suppose. If they're actors, though, it's a must.

They can do whatever they want, I'm not gonna be a hardass on them just because they're wearing make up.

Yeah whatever the hell they want. I've got rather larger concerns in my life than whether someone pretties themselves up, guy or girl.

I'm not going to lie, some eye make up can look rather nice on some guys. It's their choice, not mine.

I voted sometimes because most of the time I have seen guys with makeup on they are just trying to shock others and it looks stupid.

However the ones I have seen that know what they are doing look GOOD! Oh, wow yeah! If all guys wore their makeup like that I would be for it in spades!

It looks good on some guys, so yeah, why not.

Usually, no. Lip gloss and eye shadow... NO! Eyeliner and black nail polish is okay sometimes for those emo guys though.

If they want to, I suppose so. A lot of makeup creeps me out, really; I think there are plenty of girls out there who look perfectly good, if not better, without tons of makeup on, and the same would go for guys.

The only guy that should wear Make Up is Alice Cooper. Some people just look. Wrong. With makeup on. Especially these emo band members, they're like freaking aliens from mars.

As long as they arent wearing more makeup then a girl would, i guess it doesnt matter.

To be honest i dont really care whether they wear makeup or not :p

"Maybe sometimes it is okay".

I feel threatened by guys who wear make up all the time. I'm not quite sure why, but it always makes me feel somewhat uneasy. Perhaps I feel like my sexuality is being challenged. :p

I suppose it's okay some of the time, though. :/

Guys "should" do what they want. Just like girls. Who cares? I know guys that wear make-up, and I know girls that don't. It's just cosmetics.

Why not? Even guys have breakouts and face stuff that would be better if covered.

If they want to wear it, let them. But I did freak alittle when my first boyfriend started to wear mascara towards the end of the relationship.

I'd say, hell no.

This topic makes me think of Twisted Sister. 'Nuff said.

Why the hell would a guy want to wear makeup?

Reles

I'd prefer a guy NOT to wear makeup, but then again I would also prefer women not to wear it either. I just like the natural look, also bad things have happened when I've attempted makeup or someone else has attempted makeup on me. Having a boyfriend who wears makeup would be strange, instead of him waiting on me to get ready, I'd be waiting on him, but hmm maybe it'll give me time to play video games. I guess it doesn't really matter, but only eyeliner or concealer or whatever it's called, nothing else please.

Why the hell would a guy want to wear makeup?

I doubt your Welsh mind can grasp the intricacies of the situation.

Welsh people rule all others. Except Russians and Chinese. And Scots are on a parallel.

...what kind of question is this anyway?
"Should" guys wear makeup? No, persons who wants to use makeup should wear makeup, not every boy regardless of what they want themselves.

If they want to, then they can.

There is never a time when anyone should be wearing makeup unless they are in drama.

Well, I can honestly say that wearing make up has been the best way to meet really hot girls. BUT LET ME EXPLAIN.

I used to be in stage acting when I was younger, and there were a few ladies in the production that were drop dead hottness flaunting babes that I wanted to meet. So, before the production or rehersal, I'd ask them if they wanted to put my stage makeup on. Of course, the very beautiful actresses came flocking to me with joy and gladly applied the makeup. It was a great way to meet girls and get them to like you. :D

I don't believe in gender roles. So the answer is obvious, though not present in the survey: if they feel the desire to wear it to enhance their aesthetics, then they should do it, without thinking of what society thinks.

Conformity is slavery.
