Since Square-Enix seems to love remixing FF7, I think it might be cool to make a lego version of it similar to Lego Star Wars.

I liked Lego Star Wars a lot, except for the abscense of replay value. But it was fun to see all the Star Wars moments done in Legos, and with a humorous edge to them. I think it would be neat to play through FF7's story in real time (rather than with the battles like in the actual game) and play in a similar manner to LSW.

What do you think? If they made a Lego FF7, would you play it?

But doesn't the game already use legos? [/sarcasm]

But anyway, I would be interested in such a thing.

I once requested that Lego make FFVII sets, but they refused my fucking offer. Stupid idiots. It WILL come around and bite them in the ass later.

Genji, while I support your idea, I was actually talking about making a Lego FF7 game similar to the Lego Star Wars games that came out.

For all the time that it would take, I don't think it would be worth it. There are better things the studios could occupy themselves with.

For some reason, this took me like 5 minutes to get, and when I did I laughed an extremely loud, dorky laugh. Now I have to admit it publicly for some sort of weird personal closure.

Yeah, I'd probly buy it if they did. All I could hope for in this lego VII is a mode that lets you piece together all their parts all mismatched. Cloud's hair on Tifa's body is the main character I've always wanted and never got D;

Edit: Until that FFXIII trailer, now I guess I do have that. So nevermind :shifty:

How many lego blocks would it take to build Tifa, I wonder?

Eight. One for her head, one for her chest, two for her arm, two for her legs, and two for her breasts.
OMFG! LunarWeaver tell me how you got Ritsuka from Loveless as your sig? He's so cute XD

Ritsuka's MALE!? Though I guess, if Japan can come up with the likes of Flea from Chrono Trigger, Kuja, and Seymour, Ritsuka would fit right in.

Smartass answer: Nine. Head. Torso. Two arms. Two hands. Lower Body.

what about a fvii remake, period?
There are many people who don't buy fvii because the graphics suck, and you'd need to get a memory card for ps1 with it. Anyways, they've remade or remaking five of the first six games, so it's the next logical step. Tifa could be brought to her full potential, eh?

I agree with you here. I knew this guy who wanted to play FF games, but he only had a PS2 memory card, so he could only borrow FFX from me. So I let him borrow it, and he thought it was pretty good. Then I said, "Well, man, you gotta try FFVII. Seriously."

But he got so bored with it. He'd be playing, and I'd be watching and helping out, but he'd just stop. He'd be at a part where there was dialogue which means READING since they don't have voices on FF7. And he'd just stop pushing Circle. He would just sit there on the same text box for about 10 minutes because he wasn't interested in reading this stuff.

I think they should remake FF7, in some form, but I think it would be REALLY tough to stay true to the original masterpiece. I mean, FF7 was an excellent game, and if you change something that's already excellent, you're likely to make it less excellent.

it is a bit silly but i whould buy it it whould be hilaraty but a bit anoying.it also depends on if it was ff7 just lego or if they changed the story coz it whould be a bit boring playin it again. but they could totaly muck it up and make it terible:p

First frelling off, a Lego Final Fantasy 7 would be in the same 'open area' style of Final Fantasies 11 & 12.

Second, yes, the abilities may be connected to the various 'parts' of the characters. Or rather.. the ability to learn a ability could be connected to a 'part' or 'parts', possibly a 'la Materia.

Oh.. and materia would be little lego pieces you put on 'connection points'* on the weapon or connected to eachother to a single point. (Like say... a single 'connection point'* on the end of a sword's hilt.

So really, kinda fun to discuss theoritical games. A regular Lego Final Fantasy (disconnected from previous games, perhaps it's own series) would be much more fun (IMO) than the billboard for a bloated corporation called Kingdom Hearts.

(* those nubs you connect a flat lego small piece to.)

Great idea, but I think it would be smarter to make a Lego FFI and see how that goes.

Head. Torso. Two arms. Two hands. Lower Body. Was this supposed to include the two extra legos attached at her torso?

LEGO Final Fantasy would rock. I can't believe you're only saying VII. HELLO? Star Wars was made up of all three episodes in each trilogy. Surely, the guys behind the LEGO game can put together composites like Origins, Chronicles, or Anthology.
For all the time that it would take, I don't think it would be worth it. There are better things the studios could occupy themselves with.
The only thing Squenix needs concern itself with is paperwork. The guys who were behind LEGO Star Wars can do all the heavy lifting.

Actually, the reason I thought of 7 was because my friend and I were playing Lego Star Wars, and the only FF game that he really likes is FF7, so he said to me, "Dude, Square needs to make Lego FF7", and I agreed. Then I came home and made a thread about it, not even thinking about the fact that I love a great number of FF games.
