So while looking up info on this interesting game, I came across this bit of article (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/bully/news.html?sid=6159812) from all of our favorite florida video game activist idiot lawyer. And his latest attempt to thwart video games for being "evil"

I had a bit of a laugh reading this. Even more so reading his insane ramblings in the letter he sent to a judge which can be found here. ("http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/jack-thompson/thompson-verbally-attacks-judge-207578.php)

So then, discuss.

Later, in an open letter to Friedman that was circulated to various game-press outlets, Thompson decried the decision using typically fiery language. "What you conducted in your chambers, Judge, was the equivalent of Iran leading UN weapons inspectors around the country taking them to places where the illegal activity was not occurring," he said.

I never laughed so hard in my life.

It's hard to imagine anyone taking Jack Thompson seriously after this. What a crazy little fellow!

I think the guy just needs a hobby or something, getting old and senile must suck for Jack, so he takes it out on all of us.

I read his letter in MS word and my grammar and spell checker nearly choked itself.

After this? I thought he wasn't taken seriously back when his lawyer liscense was being considered for being revoked for being an idiot. Or the time he said he'ld give money to charity if someone made a game to his specifications, and did, then he refused to pay up. >.>

Then again this just adds to his impressive list that natural selection isn't working fast enough.

XD, I laughed when I read that.

The last thing he said was ALMOST good...

Next time you promise a 'hearing,' I'll bring a parent with me whose kid is in the ground because of a kid who trained to kill him or her on a violent video game. Try mocking that person, I dare you."

except for his lack of evidence and how this message was just out of spite.

Anyway, I've never taken a liking to Jack Thompson. He's sorta silly-willy in the mind if you ask me. Of course, he might just be trying to appeal to parents, but then makes himself look stupid. >.>

This guy really does need a hobby. Grand Theft Auto has inspired me to run over little orange men ... whatever.

You guys really need laws in place to get people for being morons who waste the time of the legal systems in what, like six or seven different states now?

Is he going to go through all 50 states, D.C., and dependant territories before he gets the picture?
