Are you a picky food eater? Do you only eat the things that you are used to eating? Do you ever try new foods?

As for me, I love trying new foods. It doesn't hurt until you try, right? I've tried out Indian food recently, and I really didn't like anything but the nan bread. But at least I could say I tried, right?

I'm not that picky.

The only way I am picky is if the food looks/smells rotten.

oh i'll eat anything that is reasonable....i won't eat anything that's still moving, or if it smells horrible.....other than that, if people are known to eat it, i'll try it

can't afford to be picky!

I'm not as picky these days as I was when I was younger. I guess a lot of people are like that, though. My biggest problem was probably with when food touched other food; for example, if some peas got into mashed potato I would not be able to eat any of the peas or mashed potato. :yap:
Plenty of other stuff like that, but I've hardly the time to recite them now!

I was usually forced to eat them, and the “I'm allergic to [whatever]” card only works so many times. I would get into so much trouble for throwing away my food I eventually had to force my pickyness out of myself. So yeah. I'm still picky about stuff these days, but now that I'm more in control of what I eat it's not such a big deal.

I'm a vegatarian so I am slightly picky, I eat fish though, so long as it's fish or vege I'll give it a try.

If it doesnt look wierd, I'll eat it.

If it does look weird, I'll probably still eat it.

Maximum picky. If I can't eat it with chopsticks, I'm not eating it.

But I can eat everything with chopsticks.

I'm very picky! Lets put it this way if I were stuck in the middle of the desert and my only hope for survival was to eat something from the desert I'd be dead fast.

I'm probably one of the least pickiest eaters out of everyone I know. Everytime I go to a restaraunt I always try to get something different from the menu. I tried Alligator for the first time about a month ago, has a chicken like taste. (what doesn't)

I'll eat whatever I get my hands on. I like trying new things. Except for brussels sprouts or anything with ranch. I'll decline that with the quickness.

I am a picky eater, though I am trying to change that. I do admit that whether I like it or not, when I am a guest somewhere I will eat what is served to me.

I'll try new things and I have odd taste buds, but I'm very picky in some ways. Or at least my husband seems to think so. Like I like 1% milk but not 2%, and only certain brands. I like Arrowhead bottled water but not Sparklets. Etc, etc.

I'm very picky, especially not that I'm a vegetarian. My main foods that aren't really junky or fast foot are pasta, rice, and bagels. ;__;

I know what I like, but I'd try different things. (Especially if it smells lovely)

I'll eat anything. I've eaten a week old delux slice of pizza that was under my couch. It was good.:D

1) "what is that brown, greasy mess in the bowl?"
2) onions, garlic - puke alert.
3) animal organs - nah, i'll pass on that

yeah, i can be picky. but not many people (including this particular Asian), actually enjoy eating other mammals' innards. the number 2s - i just have a grotesque reaction towards them. and for the first one, i do not like brownish grime in my food...

I am terribly picky

It drives anyone who eats or prepares food with/for me up the wall...

I'm not picky at all when it comes to food. I like everything (at least almost), and like trying new food. It comes in handy when you're having dinner at someone else's place.

I'm not really picky, although it may seem that way. I know what foods I dislike - mushrooms for example, and any food that has mushrooms in it I refuse to eat. I suppose in that was I am picky. :D

Totally picky, but I still like to try new stuff as long as it's not too fancy. Plain food is underrated!

Not to contest your lifestyle or anything but, if you eat fish, you are not a vegetarian. Unless you are going by a Japanese vegetarian diet. Fish is meat.

I will eat anything once. The only problem is that I do not get to try new things that often.

I love food and will eat anything but I have to restrain myself from those super delicious, mouth-watering, shiny texture and orgasmic tasting sweets. :)

I'm picky but not picky! My OCD kind of makes me picky because then I'm always "OMG THERE'S CORN IN MY MASHED POTATO'S GET IT AWAY"

If it's edible, I'll eat it. With a few exceptions.

I'm quite picky, though not like I was as a child.

My friends and co-workers still make fun of me for being picky...I eat many different kinds of food and from many different restaraunts, but I always eat the same thing from each restaurant.

Most of the things I refuse to eat these days are either seafood, which I abhor with some exceptions (those being lobster, crab, shrimp) or the result of texture...squishy or extremely fleshy are disgusting...tripe, calimari, tomatoes (though I love ketchup, tomato sauce, and tomato soup), etc. I also refuse to eat hotdogs.

Yes, very. Combinations such as tomato bits in pasta make me have trouble eating it; certain vegetables make me cringe in disgust... etc.
