A simple thread with an important point: what type of cheesecake is your favourite? Actually, do you even like cheesecake? I love it, personally...

My favourite variety would have to be the sublime lemon cheesecake. It's the delicious biscuity base that makes the cheesecake so great, though, not necessarily the flavour.

And yourself?

Note: I've not provided a poll, as there are far too many varieties of cheesecake to list.

Good ol' New York Cheesecake for me please. I like it plain and simple and delicious. *Maybe* add some strawberries on top to make it pretty. But otherwise, just plain cheesecake. Oh yeah, that's some good stuff right there.

I don't like cheesecake. Cheese is awesome and cake rocks, but i want them seperate. No cheesecake!!

I've only tasted cheesecake once, and the girl who made it said she screwed up. I don't know what it's supposed to taste, but it wasn't very good. I ate it anyway, being the super friend that I am.

I wasn’t aware there was so much variety to cheesecakes.

Anyway, I’d probably take whatever I can get. That stuff is good.

Pumpkin or New York Original is what I prefer.

Absolutely no toppings, however. Perhaps some chocolate shavings, but that is all.

The type my mum makes, with strawberry jelly, some creamy layer of a flavour I can't remember and a gorgeous biscuit base. I haven't a clue what type they are though.

This thread makes me want to go home and persuade her to make some...

I worked in a cheesecake shop and therefore have expert knowledge on this subject. 8-)

Passionfruit, continental style (more creamy, non-baked version), is by far the greatest.

Strawberry cheesecake, OR we have this cheesecake at work that has a chocolate chip graham-stuff base and chocolate line things on top, it's really good, too! Mmm~

You know BoB you just became my god! All Kneel before mighty BoB! lol :D

I love the baked New york style cheesecake we do at work but my favourite has to be the strawberry (though passionfruit is really rather nice too)

As long as the cake itself is good then I'll take any number of things on top, but best is raspberry. On the cruise I went on this Summer they had delicious cheesecake which I ate at least twice a day and gained three pounds.

Either regular or chocolate. Both are fantastic. I haven't had many varieties of cheesecake, really. I'm sure I'd love strawberry.

The pastry kitchen at my work makes the most divine Turtle Cheesecake in the universe. I also had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake once that was awesome...

Plain is good, but any marble variety can be good too. Not a huge fan, but I have had some a few times.

There's a bakery here that makes Belgian chocolate cheesecakes and Irish cream cheesecakes. It's like eating rainbows with less colours and more chocolate pleasure.

The bakery also makes good Tiramisu cakes.
