I saw on a site that Uematsu is back. Can't find the hyperlink though. Anyone to confirm it?

Hitoshi Sakimoto (Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance) is the composer for Final Fantasy XII. Fitting, given another universe set in Ivalice.

I believe that Nobuo Uematsu composed the main theme or something. But I know he's definitely not the composer.

We're talking XIII here.

Oh sorry, I didn't see the extra I. xD

Eh...well, I know this one has a different composer...but I can't remember his name or even if where I read about it before. Hold on...:cat:

I doubt he's composing the entire game, since he's independent now and is working on various things, like Mistwalker's games. He's probably doing at least the title track, though, as he did with XII. This is just my guess, though; it's possible he's back to do the entire game's soundtrack.

I beleive it's going to be Masashi Hamauzu, not Uematsu.

You never know, he may come in to do a few important songs for the soundtrack. That'd be really nice, IMO. =)

Yeah it would. I'd love to see him compose it.

No, the site said Uematsu. I just checked wikipedia and it said Hamauzu with Uematsu. Wikipedia isn't that credible though.

Where's the walking encyclopedia (Kishi) at when you need him.

Uematsu is only slated to compose the theme song, as was the case with FFXII.
