Have you ever walked out of the cinema during a movie? Or have you ever rented a movie and quit watching it and never seen the ending?

I've never leaved, but I fell asleep while watching Sofie's Verden, a Norwegian movie about a girl who can travel to different eras. And the only rental movie I've turned off is Scary Movie 4. :mog:

What a coincidence. The only movie I've ever walked out of was Scary Movie 1.

The only times I've walked out have been when I walked in, saw that it was completely packed, walked out and traded my ticket for a later showing. That happens every so often.

Oh and that one time when me and my friends walked into the wrong theater and we were like, wtf is this movie?

There have been plenty of movies that I returned without watching but that's more cause I'm lazy than anything else. Too busy or tired to watch the DVDs I get from netflix.

Even really really really bad movies like Real Women Have Curves, I sat through. I don't know why. I guess I just don't like paying $10 for a movie and not actually sit through it.

I always sit through a movie even when it sucks but I will start to yell verbal abuse at the screen near the last quarter of it.

Comments include : "Oh Come on! WTF! Affleck as Daredevil, yeah right!!"

Oh my god, I saw Scary movie 1 at the cinema with my mom. I thought I was going to die in the bedroom scene.

I don't think I made it that far.

I fell asleep during Kingdom of Heaven when it was on TV. It was taking too long to get to the swordings.

50 First Dates. I walked out though because me and my friends couldn't see the screen. We had just been rejected entry into a nightclub and we were drunk as hell.

I saw it, while in the fifth grade, with my friend and his mom, who is relatively strict.

I usually see movie through to the end. I think I turned off Dawn of the Dead (original) when I watched it (downloaded it, admittedly) just because it was like an hour into it and it seemed like nothing had happened and I felt like doing something else. If I pay for a movie, though, no matter how bad, I'll watch it through. Even absolute turds like Fantastic Four.

Haha I saw Scary Movie 1 with my mom for my 11th birthday.

And I agree with Miriel about the not walking out on movies thing. That's why I don't do it.

I've stopped watching movies I've rented though, sure. I quit watching Eight Legged Freaks within like the first 10 minutes. Same thing with Road Trip!

I have never walked out on a movie. Even if it's bad, I like to see it to the end, just because. I fell asleep during Pokemon 2000 though. :cat:

I don't go see movies at the theater as often, and I generally only see ones I really want to see in the first place, so I haven't walked out on any yet.

Captain Corelli's Mandolin and a bizarre Korean film called 3-Iron. The former was just utter pants (especially after liking the book) and the latter had two main characters who hadn't talked in the hour that I managed to sit through.

I quite like walking out of the cinema. It's a bit of a protest, except everyone else probably thinks you're going to the toilet or something.

I've never walked out of the cinema for any reason, but I do remember when I was young, my aunt rented out Pocahontas 2 for my cousins and I. We went away to play the playstation, just... leaving the movie running. xD It was awful.

I've never walked out of the Cinema.

I nearly did whilst watching The Aviator, though. Worst film ever.

Luckily I went to see Scary Movie with my friend when I was like 12 or something... no adults - it would have been really embarrassing.

Anyways, I've never walked out in a cinema, and I never will. If I've paid to see a movie then I'll see it to the end. It's the same with rented DVDs.

I've never walked out of a movie before, primarily because I can't afford to pay for movies I know will be bad. I was almost on the verge of walking out on Matrix Revolutions however.

No, not intentionally. I did see the first hour of Forrest Gump about 10 times before I finished watching it, though.

Oh man, that movie was bad! It took patience for me to sit through that!

Ok ... i couldn't stand Austin powers and how stupid it got as the movies progressed ... and progressed ...

That midget freaks the $#*& outta me and i don't find that 'waynes world' humor funny anymore ...

I couldn't stand moulin rouge (sp ... but don't care to spell check)
Too gay for me ... and thats kinda like a paradox ... cause i love gay movies cause they're gay and i can subject people to how horribly gay they are ... like nails on a chalk board

I walk'd out of the theater for casino ... that movie put me to sleep, literally ... after i woke up, i was like duce
bi:skull:ches !

I could go on and on ... but i leave work in 3 mins

I've never walked out of the cinema during a movie, and I've always watched the film I've rented, even when I had my rusty old DVD drive that was about to crash the movie every 30 seconds for the first half of the film or so (that was annoying). If I've paid to see a movie, I want to see all of it then, even if it's a really bad movie.

I walked out of Daredevil and went to see Chicago instead - leaving behind the people I was with. I was so tempted to run out of the cinema while Scary Movie 4 was playing - oh dear God it was awful. I also nearly walked out of The Upside of Anger.

I rented out A Good Woman and didn't even get 15 minutes into it and switched it off.

I was dead-to-the-world asleep for the first hour or so of Episode III. I walked out of "The Lake House" as well because that was clearly the worst waste of $1 ever.
