Kiss Me Good-bye, the OST on eyeonff wedsite

As Final Fantasy XII's domestic release draws ever closer, Square Enix has begun to reveal more about the game's soundtrack. Published by Tofu records, XII's soundtrack will be a bit different than many of the ones we've seen in the past. Rather than being an all-encompassing collection of every piece of music in the game, the Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack will feature 31 selected tracks from the game.

Thirty of the songs on the OST are composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, while the last is Final Fantasy XII's theme song, "Kiss Me Goodbye," composed by Nobuo Uematsu and sung by Angela Aki. Below are images of the sountrack: the first is what the front cover looks like folded out, while the rest are the inside artwork.

i just viewed the wedsite and i dunno is eyesonff write wrong or it now in US "Kiss Me Good-Bye become the theme song. but i think wont so funny suddenly it become the theme song. So i hope eyesonff.com stuff can check it 1st

Okay...is 'ballad' a more appropriate term then? :p And last time I checked, Symphonic Poem 'Hope' was actually just a special CD for FFXII, at least it's not a part of the OST folder on my computer.

I'm not sure if neither "Kiss Me Goodbye" nor "Symphonic Poem ~ Hope" could be considered the main themes of FFXII. As far as I know, they both play only during the ending scene and the ending credits. You won't hear them in any other part in the game. If you want to hear what I'd consider the main theme, it's played in several songs in the game, but I don't think it has a stand-alone track. "Opening Movie (Theme of FINAL FANTASY XII)" (part 2:30-3:30), "The Dalmasca Eastersand" and "Theme of FINAL FANTASY XII (Production Announcement Version)" (part 2:05-3:00) all contain the main theme of the game.

This 31-track collection of Final Fantasy XII's music reminds me of FFIX's Uematsu's Best Selection album, which contained 33 songs (32 tracks from the game and an extra one). Not bad, although many great songs from the game are missing from this FFXII album.
