View Full Version : Solo Talk!

I have to think of a subject for a 3 minute long solo talk and write some notes about it for Monday. I've known about it for a week now, but I've put it off 'till now. It has to be suitable for a class full of 30 annoying 12-13 year olds and a nasty teacher. :)
As if things weren't already tough enough, there's this girl I kinda "like" in the class. I sit next to her now (the world hates me) and talk and stuff, but I think standing up and talking alone for a full three minutes non-stop might be a bit different.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

First off: sitting next to someone you "like" is great!

Do you have talk about a certain subject?

Talk about something the girl you like, likes. It gives an implication you have similar intrests.

Or talk about final fantasy :D

I think a good subject would be the evolution of classical music and it's effects on modern society as a result of increased access to media.

Well you're wrong.

There isn't a specific subject or anything, as long as it's suitable.
Sitting next to her's great, yeah, but I get really shy and stuff around her. :)
Final Fantasy would be an option, but no one would know what I was talking about (that might be a good thing though) and I don't like the idea of talking about a video game.
Thanks for the help.

talk about something like pie. That always becomes a crowd pleaser :)

My friend once did a presentation on turnips, and that was a hit.

Talk about guitar solo's, as that's what I thought this thread was going to be about. :(

Talk about the most traumatizing, painful thing you have ever been through.

Talk about yourself!

If you don't know what to say about yourself, just check a few thread topics here in General Chat and you're bound to find something interesting to say. Heck, it doesn't have to be interesting either.
