Swellow is the strongest Bird pokemon. This can be strong by the Wing Attack and beat all the Fighting and Grass Pokemon. This can be strong team working with Pokemon named Treecko (Sceptile). But if you wrongly attack your Sceptile with Swellow and Sceptile will be KO by the Battle. By the begin you will select the Starter Pokemon and that must be your favorite Pokemon so mine is Treecko because he can given the Strongest and Maximum Damage to the Stone Pokemons. So you can beat the Gym Leader named Roxanne. Before that you must catch Taillow. And than you must visit the Forest and beat the bug Pokemon with Tailow and you will out the forest and your Tailow is now at level 11 and you must continue with your Starter named Treecko and you will beat all the next Trainer after the road of Forest than is your Treecko at level 14 at that moment that you will come to the Gym of Rock Pokemon and you must use all the time Absorb attack to beat all the stone Pokemon. And than your Treecko is at level 16 reached and evolve into Grovyle.

Don't bother. A Combusken with a Double Kick pwns Roxanne's pokemons. Or a Mudkip with Mud Slap at lv9. :D

Even though Swellow may be the strongest bird Pokemon, it's not exactly the most diversified.

No offense, but Swellows can't exactly learn Faint Attack, Steel Wing, Psychic, Present, Confuse Ray, Drill Peck, Hydro Pump, Ancient Power, Confusion, or Dragonbreath. Then again you are talking about the start of the game so I guess you're right.

Also it's nice knowing that I'm not the only one that chooses starters that aren't Fire Types.

I now feel competent enough to play a game that it incredibly difficult for my brain.

My brain has less reasoning power than that of a pre-teen. I don't know how kids can play these games: I certainly cannot.

My life is fulfilled! I best die now before someone or something soil it!

Grass type starters were originally created for beginners, just like in R, B, &Y. The creators of the game set up this players system to correspond with what starter they chose and how good they were at the game.

Grass - Beginner - Super Effective against Brock (Rock) and Misty (Water) - Fast EXP gain ratio

Water - Intermediate - Super effective against Brock (Rock) but weak against Misty (Water) - Medium EXP gain ratio

Fire - Experienced - Weak against Brock (Rock) and Misty (Water) - Slow EXP gain ratio

In R/S/E It's nearly the same, but with only one leader this time.

Grass nukes Roxxane (Rock) with fast EXP gain ratio and being super effective against her Geodude against their ground/rock types

Water nukes Roxxane (Rock) with medium EXP gain ratio and being super effective against her Geodude against their ground/rock types

Fire is semi-owned by Roxxane and her Rock types mainly because if you still have Torchic, rock throw will nuke you, but Combusken can nuke them with double kick, as well as the fighting type nullifying the 'super-effectiveness' of rock type attacks against him/her. Drawback is slow EXP gain ratio.

Moral here is that there is no one best Pokèmon, but strength lies in how well they match up.

If you get some mail on the Item Shop by the Pokemon Emerald. And you can give to your Pokemon and you can select the catagory from the menu to the whriting board and if you finished you can give to your Pokemon that you will trade it and other can read your PM.

I completed this when I had no internets and my Swellow sucked. it was level 37 by the time I got to Ever-Grande city and pretty useless so I went and caught Rayquaza to fight the Elite Four with instead.
