Is there anything in a username that sets off alarms shouting n00b alert?

Lots and lots of numbers, reference to Sephiroth, XXX's, all lowercases...

Kind of like crashNUMBERS.

Usually things like ff names + numbers + underscores + various other punctuation marks.

If I see an interesting username I'll notice the memmber..until they prove to be a noob..but I dont usually pay attention to people with silly usernames.

A name with tons of numbers on the end, or something like "Xx_Yuna_Xx" ...names with x's at the beginning and end make me sad. :(

It’s the person behind the name that counts!

Hmm, I dunno. I don't think there is a newbie name. A nice fellow could always stroll in and name himself something like Sephiorth_64335 I guess, never know.

Kawaii Ryukishi or Yamaneko

Totally n00b.

Yamaneko

Only a n00b would caps lock the descriptor.

Names don't make a n00b, their posts do ^_^
But currently I feel like hating anything with sepiroth in it ^_^

Purposely misspelling a word because the original was already taken and you think its cool, like, Sefiroth, Clowd, yeah.. you get the idea!

Names like "Iluvsephirothxcloud4evar!!!" are generally a clue. :rolleyes2

Ecessive numbers and misspellings in names is another huge sign of noobishness. That said, there are good posters with horrible names, and horrible posters with great names. :(

no capitals, yepyep. Also, FF name and numbers, usually 69 because they think they are cool if they use it. And stupid X things. And no spaces between words. Such as XxXsephirothisgod69XxX.

Stuff like CloudIsMine7477, sephyskawaii2845, and LOlimsocool471394571401908.

And of course, anything with shortened/screwed versions of words that really don't need to be shortened (gurl, grl, boi, etc.)
