Have you ever faked your own death to get out of class? I dont think I have, but I have heard stories of people who are capable of doing that and getting away with it.:shifty:

It's an amazing accomplishment as a student, but at the same time it's really mean to fake your own death... I've never heard of anyone pulling such a thing off o_O

I've never been original with my excuses when it comes to not doing homework. I'm so pathetic that I've actually used the one with the dog eating the homework :eep:

I never faked my death, but I have told a teacher my stepdad ate my homework.

I wrote my own excuses in high school and said that I was sick for three days with myxomatosis, and surprisingly got away with it. The whole 'dead' thing would fail miserably, sir. ;)

Ive walked up to my techer and said "uhh... im dead" but he just looked at me smiled and forced me to do my work.

I have a friend who didn't do her homework and the assictant teacher got mad and asked why and she said "my Dad was suppose to bring it for me.... he let me down" she was practically smiling when she said it i mean she was soooo clearly lying it was way to obviouse. But then the teacher believed her and said "im sry" and let her rest in the back AND gave her a lolly pop meanwhile she was laughing it was crazy i couldn't believe she got away with it. And she's known to lie to.

I have never tried it but my friend said that her dog ate her homework and the amazing thing is it actually did!!!!!I thought that only happened in fairy tales!!!!!

Yeah, I make good excuses though. For example, my math teacher feels as long as someone makes a full effort on homework they deserve to have it marked down as done soo..... write some numbers relating to some of the problems, several crossouts and scribbled out incorrect answers and tell her "I tried my best but I couldn't understand it." I've done that twice, I even get away with making all the scribbles and crossouts in class.

In high school I just skipped, and usually came in with no excuse at all. The teachers were supposed to get a note explaining why we were absent, or else we couldn't make up our work, but I was a good enough student that none of my teachers cared at all.:p

Faking death, hmm? It's just crazy enough to work!

I'll try it tomorrow, I'll need an excuse, there's no way I'll finish this essay tonight! :(

I have. Being homeschooled makes it far less believeable. No surprise, it didn't work T_T

No, I used to use the excuse that I had been at work, or was too ill to do homework though. I used to be such a slacker at school. I'm not so bad now that I'm in college, I do all my homework, but sometimes I don't do it to my best ability and just rush it because I'm a lazy Jess. :jess:

I'm so pathetic that I've actually used the one with the dog eating the homework :eep:

So my dog did eat my homework, and my binder with other classes homework in it so I brought it and showed it to my math teacher so she'd believe me.

Most times I don't make up excuse I really have them, a lot. But I will make some up from time to time. I try to make them believable though.

Comets excuse :

'Hi, Ma'am you look pretty today.'

'Oh thank you very much <insert name here>. Have you done your homework?'

'Oh, ma'am I was walking with it to school and loooking at it just in case I missed something, but the wind blew it away! Can you believe that? Luckily I've got it saved on my computer so I'll bring it in next lesson.'

Works like a charm.

As if cheating will work when any of you get a proper job! Cultivating those kind of schemes now will just set you up for failure later.

Suck it up and get to work!

What's wrong with this classic: "I did it but I left it at home. Can I bring it to you tomorrow?"

As the excuse gets used more and more teachers figure out your never going to bring it in.:(

People i know have had dogs that have eaten their homework so its not that weird.

If you get the teacher to like you then you can pretty much get away with everything in latin last year i was sooo bad i cheated on tests and homwork and everyone knew about it except for the teacher who thought i was good.:) If it werent for those good class participation grades i would really be dead right now.:p

Just kill the teacher, and you will have no more homeworks.
