Do you use public transport at all?

I have to take two buses home from school, or I can take the train but that's way longer.

I use buses to get into town, and taxis if I'm going home late at night. I can't drive yet, but some of my closest friends do, and the whole of my immediate family do, too. So most of the time I get a lift. :jess:

When I'm in Northern California, I use BART, the train system, a lot. And I love it! So very convenient. When I'm in Southern California, hell no I don't use public transportation. :p

Back when I was in Jr. High, our levy didn't pass so they had to cut school transportation (school buses). That's the only time that I had to use public transport.

I usually use the car but now I'll start with public transports (train and bus) coz traffic here in morning is chaos

I walk to all my classes, since they're not too far from my dorm. I have one on Friday that would be a good 30 or 40 minute walk, though, so I take the bus for that one. The university's bus system is fantastic. :p

Wel, I almost never leave my house, but when I do it's in a car. But I do like subways ^_^

Well I don't really use public transport, I walk to and from school and if I need to get somewhere I'll get a lift with a family member or something. But I do very rarely get the bus or a taxi

I go on the train on weekends sometimes, and I used to take the bus home from school every day (my bastard school bus got cancelled for some freaking reason), but now I usually get a lift with my friend and her brother. :p

I miss my car. ;_;

I walk to work, and I'll take the bus everywhere else I need to go.

I also own a car.

When I'm going to the centre, I usually just get a bus, or get my dad to drop me off. Same with going into Glasgow - except I get a train! :D

I go on the train when I go to Boston to shop with my mom. But thats it, I walk to school. Since its only like 2-3 blocks from my house. And the rest, I get a ride from my dad or my big brother.

I took a taxi into the city today. I usually take buses to go places.

EDIT: Nice pun on the thread title

I have been in one taxi, one bus, one train, and multiple planes. The taxi wasn't a very bad experience but I probably wouldn't do it again. The bus broke down halfway between my house and location in a part of town that is not known for its safety. The train broke down multiple times on my ride from Washington state to Southern California but I didn't mind because it was a pretty nice ride scenic wise.

I like flying. Or moreso, I enjoy sitting in airports. But the getting on the plane part is nice too.

Public Transportation is okayish.

I am without a car, and there is no public transportation in a small rural area such as this.

I walk, or rather, run, to both my jobs.

I have to run because I am too busy playing video games or the like.

It's a good thing I was in Cross-Country, otherwise I would be unable to feed my nerd antics.

I get a car ride to school, and I walk home. Sometimes if my parents are not home, I'll take the bus.

I thought this was going to be a link to another one of Weird Al's songs. Oh well.

Anyways, yeah, I drive a truck, because I'm manly and everybody else are wussies.

What the fuck is a tram? A trampoline? How the fuck can you get to work on a trampoline?

Behave, edlalala.

I take the bus everywhere around here in Chapel Hill, unless someone wants to drive me someplace. At home I drive my dad's truck because my sister wrecked my car. I miss it.

Greyhound is a terrible way to travel, and so are trains, in my experience. Trains in the southeast are kind of few and farbetween because the metropolitan areas are so far apart. Ergo, all passenger trains must give right of way to frieght (sp?) trains. I was stuck on an eight hour train ride for twenty one hours because of that. >:O

There isn't much public transport to speak of around here. That kind of stuff gets bought out by car companies.

I take the school bus home and to school, don't know if that counts.

But I used to live in Austria, and it's really safe there, so you could use public transport. And plus, the public's excellent anyways. I took the bus, the u-bahn (subway), the tram ... ahh, good times. Goood times.

Tampa has a sad excuse for a bus system and that's it. I wouldn't take it if my life depended on it. Besides, I have a pretty sweet Mommy car...

I take the bus, because I have no other option. I can't drive, don't have access to a car if I could, and couldn't afford gas and insurance. So I have to deal with San Bernardino's lousy excuse for public transportation.

I take the bus on occasion. But I usually just get a ride or skateboard to where I need to go.

I get a ride from my dad to school in the (eaaarly) morning, and walk places after school. My step-mother picks me up either at the mall or at school at about 6 pm. So, a combination of other people's cars and walking.

There's (virtually) no public transportation worthy of taking in southern California if you haven't noticed. :D

I have to take a bus everyday to school, and I sometimes use the train as well - I only use metros when I'm in big cities.

My parents hate giving me lifts, so I dont even bother asking much anymore.

I take the School bus to-and-fro School every week day. If I want to go Town after school sometimes the driver lets us stay on and drops us off at town for no extra cost.
If I want to go to Town on a weekend I get a bus.
If I want to go to Manchester I have to get a lift to St Helens Junction as its in the middle of nowhere and then the Train to Manchester.
If I want to go to Liverpool I get a bus to town and then walk to St Helens Central and get the Train to Liverpool.
If I want to go Southport then we get a bus, which took over an hour :p

It costs quite a lot in transportation, I only get £4 spend.
A Bus ticket to town both ways is £1.40. A Train ticket both ways is about £4.

No, it should die! I like to drive, in fact I love to drive! Sooo yeah. except maybe ferries. They are pretty cool.

There's a very little chance to die when on a train, that's my choice! This is also the reason why I stay away from my home. I don't want to die! :(

I use to get the train to my old uni, now I walk for 20 minutes or so. Going home to Manchester I use the coach instead of the train cause its faster and cheaper. And if I go into town back home, I use the trams.
