Well, a week ago, I asked my mom if I could get Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the GameCube. She said that she would do it, so she went to our local Wal-Mart to get as she grocery shopped.

As she returned home, I looked into each bag. I found the game and took it out. That's when I discovered that the people at Wal-Mart had screwed up. Big time.

Somehow, the clerk was so stupid, they managed to get this:

mixed up with this:

Needless to say, I was pissed off, and so was my mother. I would return it, but my younger brother opened it to play it while I was at a friend's house, and now I can't return it. What infuriates me more is that it took him only one day to beat the entire game.

Well, has anybody else had experiences like this one?

I once rented Scream 2 only to find out that inside of it was the Little Mermaid. :\

I rented a My Little Pony video when I was a kid and they gave me My Little Pony & Friends. The My Little Video was 2 hours of My Little Pony, that gay My Little Pony and Friends had one episode and loads of rubbish cartoons on I couldnt stand! They did that twice!

I pre-ordered a copy of Smackdown Vs Raw 2006, only to find that the store cashier I spoke to had put aside a copy of the previous years' Smackdown Vs Raw game. What the hell would I have wanted that one for? Why would I pre-order a game that had already been out for eleven months? =/

Oh, and Chicken Little isn't that bad. You should try it. :p

I rented a movie, I don't remember which, but it certainly wasn't the one inside the cover. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328538/)

I also bought A Nightmare Before Christmas (the video game), and almost got some car game instead. I saw it before she closed the cover so I told her and she got all embarassed. Not that it would've mattered, the game I bought was really boring and it's collecting dust on my shelf.

Hehe, chicken little xD God I hate movie games. Such a lazy cash in ;___; Anyway, uhh, I don't remember it happening with a game... I remember when they gave me curry sauce instead of garlic mayonnaise at the chip shop though! Evil.

When I bought Evangelion Platinum Volumes 3 and 7, the idiots gave me the display case of Volumre three instead of the volume 7.

The idiots. And since it wa an expo thing, I cant return it. So im stuck with some empty DVD case that is useless

Also, when we bought Final Fantasy IX ages ago back in 2000, the discs were wrong. Luckily I had a bit of gut instinct and stopped and checked the discs, and sure enough, wrong ones.

Can't say I have. I'd be pissed if that happened.

I was once gifted a video game (still in plastic wrap, I should add) and received documentation but no game disc. Needless to say, we were highly disgruntled.

I always check my discs and stuff, so that never happens to me.

Hmm in my humble opinion you got the better of the films, Scream 2 sucked, took itself way too seriously to say it was a film sequel that the prequel to was meant to be a comedy (the damn actors just played it too straight faced)

I used to work in a video games store and well you used to see people comming in during my shifts when the guy I used to work with had been in on his own "Dude, I um brought this and got this in the box, what can you do about it?" and I would check the inventory on the system then on the manual search (going through the entire stock of the games store since we used to put ALL games behind the counter in draws much like in your local Game store with the Pre-owned is a long time) and sure enough the imbecile had put the wrong game in the wrong box. Though the funniest thing to happen was when we were repairing a PS2 for a customer and found an adult movie in there and so when it came to testing to see if the console would read DVD's (since the laser had to be re-tuned) we decided to use his disc since obviously that was the one causing the problem. Then on the invoice like with all repairs we wrote up an inventory of parts recieved, repairs and checks done making sure that the first thing he saw would be the part where it said "Dodgy german porn, Shaved heads, hairy armpits. Tested" on the box. Needless to say he didn't come in for a long time.
