I've caused awkward silences, nothing worse than that. Well, none that I can think of at the moment.

I hate awkward silences I normally try to break them. I have a friend that whenever there is an awkward silence she says "During every awkward silence a puppy dies, please end awkward silences"..... something like that can't really remember but it sure does break it.:p

I sometimes feel akward in different situations e.g. when I'm talking to a hot girl or something like that. Generally I'm pretty self-confident.

I constantly find myself in awkward situations. If I accidentally talk too mcuh, I tend to reveal things that should be kept secret, such as my Partner's toilet habits and whatnot.
