Is this a glitch?

Ive killed every dark aeon except yojimbo, and I can easily beat him 4 times, the thing is he vanished after a fourth time and the friendly music comes back on. The yevonite bloke shrugs his shoulders and runs off, if I chase him out it resets it back to fight one, but he's nowhere to be found in the cave... help please.

Argh come on somebody help.. I want to kill penance, but I have approximately half a day before i'm back at college and I no longer have an excuse for playin games so much... does anyone else have this problem? Or is there just a secret location where the summoner runs off to or what?

I think you may be missing the fight you have in the cave with the chest with the Lv.2 Key Sphere. I know there's one battle in a side area, and I think that's it. If you're still stuck, just walk all over before you reach the battle where he runs away, since that's the 5th battle
