What is your favorite party member combo? I like Squall(no questions), Irvine(he's cute) and Quistis(she's just plain awsome) in my party. For some reason everyone likes Zell in their party. Why? I dont like him.:confused:

Squall, Irvine, and Rinoa have the capabilities for the most doin'est damage while still being ones that don't annoy me (hence, no zell).

Selphie sometimes goes in for irvine. I don't really like zell *or* his limit (too much work!) so he's rarely in my serious party (he's in it right now, but I"m just levelling squall up, so it doesn't matter, 'cause he's ko'd anyways xD) quistis is sometimes.

The only difference in battle between the characters are their limits and sprite, so I have Squall, Selphie & Quistis. Zell's limit takes so long time, and I don't like Irvine even though his limit is good, all the others have tons of magic before I meet him anyway. Rinoa I use sometimes, but she's gone for some parts of the game, so I forget her every now and then.

The most powerfull limit break is Zell Duel atack (Armaggedon Fist)

I have:

Zell= because he posseses the most powerfull limit break and his my favourite character

Squall= because i´m forced to use him

Selphie= i use her because of Full Cure and mainly for support character plus she is my second favourite character

If i could i would change Squall for Irvine since his limit break his more reliable.

Squall: Attack, Lionheart and because I'm forced to.
Quistis: Best character in the game and one of the only two I actually liked. I use her for magic and her awesome limit breaks.
Selphie: The other characer who I like. I use her for healing and magic.

I usually teamed up Squall with Rinoa and Quistis, for the not very good reason that I tended to like their characters.

Squall - Forced to, Lionheart makes up for it.
Rinoa - I just go for Invisible Moon and Shooting Star.
Irvine - Uber badass limit. One Pulse Ammo and BAM! or Quick Shot and do the manual machine gun.

I used Squall because you're forced to have him in your party, and his Renzokuken / Lion Heart is very powerful. On my first game, I had Rinoa and Irvine with Squall because I liked their characters (okay, I'm weird :p).

On my second game, I often had Selphie in my party during the early parts of the game because of her Full Cure limit break. Later I occasionally had Quistis on the party because of her Blue Magic, such as Mighty Guard, Degenerator (really useful against Ruby Dragons!) and Shockwave Pulsar. The ones I used the most on my second game, though, were Rinoa (Angelo techs, usually Wishing Star) and Zell (Armageddon Fist).

Squall, Rinoa, and Zell. and the files with Edea enabled, she'd most likely be replacing Zell.

I have every party member levelled up, kitted out and fully stocked (including GF's and Magic. sorry once all chars level 100 and devouring is in progress and that I don't need like 4 gf's a char 2 does me perfect.) I have 1 support such as carbuncle or hp related damage such as Diablos with one elemental/mag based damage gf per char. The support has all not neccessary moves erased and powerful, junction/character abilities taught such as HP+80% (means no junction needed for 9999 hp, means full magic and no worries when it comes to griever). I can also do any limit break which means I use whoever and when ever I feel.

Rinoa (I don't know exactly why but I used to do it just coz they were an item, now its just a habit that i dnt mind sticking to)

I usually use Squall (duh), Quistis and Selphie. Sometimes I'll have Zell instead of one of the girls but I barely ever use Rinoa and use Irvine even less.

Squall: Lion Heart can KO most bosses.
Rinoa: Healer for the party.
Zell: Armaggedon Fist rocks!

Squall-He's stuck in my party so he's naturally stronger than everyone. And I guess Lionheart is rather pwnage...

Quistis-Degenerator, Homing Laser, White Wind, Mighty Guard (the FULL version). The only attacks I use, the only ones I need.

Zell-Now that I actually know how to use his limit break! Plus I had him junctioned with 100% zombie Status attack and I never felt like changing it. :p

The others aren't bad (Dark Shot, anyone? hehehe) but they aren't as good. Selphie's and Rinoa's are FAR too random, and I'm not going to use something I can't rely on in a pinch.

On my first playthrough, I used: Squall, Quistis and Selphie. Big mistake! Even though Selphie is one of my favorite characters, she's weak, and can't really do anything. I switched to Rinoa, and it was a lot easier to complete the game.

Squall- Lionheart.
Rinoa- Invincible Moon. I learn no other limit for her.
Zell- Armageddon Fist, with some Dolphin blow thrown in for kicks.

Zell, with strong GFs

Or, have them all have drain on their weapons, which is always nice to heal yourself every attack.

But their limits are the best. Give Rinoa only the best spells and have her use Angel wing, she only uses spells she has, so she can do amazing damage then. Zell, the obvious, which I figured out myself. And Squall, well, Lion Heart of course.

I like Squall and Rinoa, and then I'm always torn between the remaining characters. If I had to choose, I would go with Zell I guess. But then again, Quistis' opening battle whip crack is good for a nice grin every now and then. Oh alright here we go, it's list time:

I can't remember who I had the first time. But when I replayed( and finally beat it) I used Squall Zell and Quistis. Seeing as they were the first three I used (and since I never escaped a battle they had lots of EXP). Sometimes I'll replace Irvine for Quistis, but not often.

Wherever it is possible , I divide the characters to form all-girl & all boy parties. I love it when the girls went to galbadia missile base. It feels like a scene of Charlie's Angels.

I always used Squall,Rinoa,and Zell.

squall is the most powerful and because of angel wing, rinoa can be just as powerful or even more powerful than squall.

squall and rinoa are pretty much the two most powerful characters but only if you can be bothered to do the thing where rinoa only uses meteor in angel wing.

still. i like to keep the couples together.

i've used all of the characters for my main party on various playthroughs but my favourite is squall, rinoa and zell.

it doesn't make much difference though and i like all of the characters. hate and dislike towards characters seem to be a very normal over-reaction to characters and it gives people something to complain about.

i pretty much anyone could play through the game using any party without problems.

A'yo, the party is Squall, Rinoa, and Quistis. That's real. Quistis would use Mighty Guard, with aura on her passing the aura to both Squall and Rinoa. Then I would go clean off with Squall's Renzokuken+Lionheart and Rinoa's Wishing Star or Angel Wing and use Shockwave Pulser with Quistis and White Wind to keep there HP up. I kill Omega and Ultima weapon like ten times in a row each like that. The Ultimate Party.
