I don't even have a mouse.

My previous mouse mat was of some house isolation brand. I'm pretty sure I got it for free.

OGRES won't know how to use it anyway. They will properly think it's food and ate it up. :(

Mine has dolphins on it.

Hey, mine too! My mouse mat is mostly blue, and it has a picture of the sea covering the lower 2/5 of the mat or so, and the sky covering the other 3/5 of the mat, and there's two dolphins jumping from the sea. ^^

I used to have an optical mouse. But back before that I had a ball mouse and used to have a few I could switch between, one was a pair of breasts and the stomach of the woman, the breasts were meant as a wrist pad but they more got in the way of fluid movement for graphical design and stuff so I had some cheap piece of junk that came from AOL for free (a freebie they sent my house when I don't even use AOL) I decided to risk the taint there for a while but Tinker's knew I love LOTRs and gave me a bunch of freebies from the premiere of the second film (she was outside of it) and I got a mouse mat in that which I keep incase I ever have to revert down the technical ladder to such measures. I currently use my laptop all the time which means touch pad.

Is it possible to have a mouse mat for your laptop? Cause I have a laptop..no mouse mat.

Iceglow
10-30-2006, 09:56 PM
hmm only if you want to use a USB mouse, which is generally only if you wanna use it for graphic design (the touch pad is complicated with that as every touch counts as clicking or holding the left mouse button) However most USB mouses (I use that not the plural mice as we are not talking biological animals) are optical and therefore do not require such things just any good hard flat surface will do.

So do I but letting it rub on my desk wears at the fake wood.

I have this: http://www.ratpadz.com/ I didn't buy it for gaming, I bought it because it's extremely large and solid plastic so it won't wear out any time soon and it has rubber feet so it won't slide around. It's been two years and it's pretty much like new except that the logo wore off.

My desk is made of glass and metal with holes in it, so I need a mousepad. I don't buy wooden furniture, on account of this being the 21st century.

I use a Dell mouse mat which I got with the computer. It's falling apart and sometimes the sharp plastic edges cut me. Now you know what to get me for Christmas.

Mousepads just restrict the amount of area you can move your mouse on. I have a big desk, so it's nice to move the mouse two feet in any direction.

I use our encyclopedia volume for the letter "G".

The mouse I use came with the computer when I bought it. It's just a pretty cheap ball mouse. Unfortunately, the round plastic piece on the bottom that keeps the ball inside when one lifts the mouse up broke. I hate it when the ball falls out and rolls away. ;__;

Anyway, what with my chair being the boxspring thing of my bed, and the desk being my matress, I need a hard surface. Hence the encyclopedia. Yeah.

I need a new mouse.

i use the touchpad on my laptop, and I turned off the annoying "tap to click" option because the initial contact between my finger or thumb and the pad was often misconstrued as a click, so instead of moving the cursor it performed a click-and-drag action.

two-handed mouse activity, anyone?

As mum for some reason refuses to connect the optical mouse we have, I have to use a craptastic normal mouse that needs cleaning out every weel or two. The mousepad is a crappy one bought from EB
