There might be a store called the exchange in your area. It's primarily for music but they also still cary PS1 games. The one in my area has FF VII on sale, and a few other hard to find PS1 games. Not too long ago I picked up FF Origins non GH brand new for only $12.

Look around used game stores. FFVII isn't a rare game. I find copies all the time for ~$20.

Buying it online can be a risk as sellers may sell it for ludicrous prices.

Game Stop, Game Crazy... Its all dependent upon how far you're willing to go. I was lucky, I got a copy for like $20 at the closest GameStop. But if the closest one doesn't have it, try a few others. Otherwise, just listen to everyone else.

Do you mind owning the GH version? I've seen that one almost everywhere, well until Gamestop + E.B. stopped buying selling PS1 games.

I just checked Ebay and when the hell did FF VII become that expensive? $90.00 for a non greatest hits one, that's just robbery right their.

In my place, the currency is divided by 3.8 for US dollars. So 10/3.8=uber low price. :D
