Winter is coming and is already here in the northern wastes of the godforsaken place some of us like to call Finland.. I don't think there's nothing bad with winter (except it's cold) but when it comes as a surprise, you wake up and see 5cm thick layer of white, pure snow everywhere and it's freezing outside, you get totally confused. Snow = yay, -25C = nay.

Of course I do!!! :D It's not like you have to worry about others sweating a lot and them stinking up the place when it's -15ºC.

Besides, winter looks pretty. There's also so much more interesting things to do during the winter.

Yay if it’s not too cold, or if it has come on the heels of an abnormally hot summer.

I don't like the winter very much. I prefer the weather of those last summer days, where it's in the 60s and 70s the best. :)

Uh, yeah, yay! Anyone who likes the repulsive sticky heat of summer needs to get their heads checked. Give me my wonderful 60 degree mornings anyday please. <3 :cat:

Over here in london I can still walk about in T-shirts with my denim jacket on over the top (so should not be doing that 2 days before november) but in the early morning going work a jumper is nice to have on.

NOT yay.

Winter sucks. I'll walk across streets that were once black and lovely but are now paved in melted sticky wet tar filled with nails and shards of glass BAREFOOT before I ever bother with the horrors of 10 degree winds and snow and everything else that winter gladly offers up to make life miserable for earthlings.

I move to my summer house in Australia when Winter strikes.

10 degrees?

That's not all that cold.

It can reach -30 w/ wind chill here.

I like Winter. The delicious cold, the lack of insects, the hot cocoa, so many thigns are wonderful.

The most beautiful thing about winter is after a snow storm and everything is covered in a pure white blanket of snow. It is amazing.

Winter is all fine and dandy up through December, but after New Year's or so it's just an annoyance, and it really doesn't clear our until March. Single digit to negative wind chill factors are about the worst thing ever. And here it's just miserably cold with hardly any snow most of the time, so it just doesn't seem worth it.

Spring/winter/summer, please.

Take away the wind and I'll say Yay. Seriously, I'll walk around in shorts sometimes if there is no wind.

Yay. I love it! I love snow, and the cold wind kind of feels nice. I used to live in Austria, and there was a market called "christkindlmarkt" It's really nice to go there and just drink the different kinds of hot chocolate as you walk around and look at all the Christmas items. That made me love winter more.

It depends how cold it is. The recent winter we had in New Zealand wasnt that great, and I froze my arse off countless times, but its still better than summer, where its so hot that going outside is to melt. At least, for someone like me that is.

I prefer cold over heat, but my favourite season would be Autumn, as its the perfect balance between hot and cold. Spring is entirely random with temperature, the last few days have been going from really hot to bloody freezing.

I think it's cosy when it's dark and cold outside - I just don't like being outside when it's cold.. brr.

I hate winter. It rarely snows, it's cold and wet and I have to spend half an hour a day standing in an exposed place getting frozen and wet. I prefer summer, when it's nice and warm.

I absoloutly adore Christmas, so naturally I love winter. Id rather be freezing than roasting; I cant stand the Summer heat, especially whilst wearing school uniforms. Atleast in winter you can apply more clothing, in Summer theres only so much you can take off.

It doesn't get as cold as Scandinavia here, but still, pretty damn cold. It reached around -7.C here last year, and that was.. cold.
It never snows here ;________;

I do get a bit sick of it after a while. Especially since its winter most of the year >;|

i love the wintery cold, yet i h8 the damned snow it tends to bring, especially the ice, in which we skidded on (black ice) and almost had a car crash, but im loving the cold
