A Song for a Song

Ok, so here is the deal. The first person gives a random band/group/song that they really like. The next person then listens to that song, on say Napster or something, and then comments on it. Say something about how much you liked it. How you feel about that genre in general. Et cetera.

The idea here is for everyone to share some of their favorite music and for everyone to find some new music.

I will go first. Go Here (http://www.napster.com/view/artist/index.html?id=12143957) to listen to Army of Freshman. They are an alternative/pop-punk/punk group that I thoroughly enjoy. I recomend 'At the End of the Day'. It is my favorite of their songs.

I couldn't listen to "at the end of the day" cos napster psychically knew I wasnt american ;__;

I downloaded Uniforms, and I thought it was pretty okay. I think lots of those sorta bands sound quite similar....though I was a big blink 182 fan so I still kinda like this kinda music sometimes... :) I probably would need to listen to more to really make up my mind though. I would like to hear that other song though, maybe you can send it to me ^_^

I choose Architecture In Helsinki - Wishbone because it is one of my favourite songs ever and you should just hear it :)

How about you post a link to a site where the song can be streamed or downloaded and then the next person comments on it? It would make things much easier.

I actually missed that. :)

I just wanted to make a suggestion as finding certain music using file-sharing programs isn't alway the easiest things in the world. I'd download the song and contribute to the thread if it weren't as in the middle of the night as it is or if I had headphones.
