There's a squid bigger than the Giant Squid. It's called the Huge Squid. No joke.

I'll tell you why we're not dead yet. It's because bird flu spelled backward is ulf drib and that means 42. Bottom line.

Bird Flu was a rumour spread by the GF critics.

Bird flu is indeed going to kill us all. It's trying to lure us into a false sense of security, and then, when the time is right, it will strike.
It's #1 opposition, Old Manus, is a close contender for the trophy.
It will bring pride and honour back to his nation.

Personally, I think Bird Flu was just people worrying over nothing. As usual. Not to say that it was 'nothing' but just that it was blown out of proportion and made to look bigger than it actually was.

Heh, I'll probably get Bird Flu now :jess:

Quindiana Jones
11-04-2006, 09:35 AM
It couldn't transfer to humans properly, so we were really only in danger if we did something stupid like....rub a dead crow, that just happened to be infected, in our faces. They even had a bird flu helpline. That makes me guffaw.

I had completely forgotten about Bird Flu now. And what happened to SARS? Diseases these days are such fads.

And a little history the last time a bird flu epedemic happened in 1918 1/6 of the worlds population was wipedout ie dead. Not lookin good is it:(

300 dead from bird flu in china is almost irrelevant. More than that die from "regular" flu in Norway each year. FYI, China is about 250 times bigger than Norway.

I think that this link might be better , this is the same site but i actually found the exact page.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/conditions/birdflu1.shtml
this will tell the the relevent facts of bird flu. Althoughthe jist of it is that Bird flu WILL mutate to go from human to human. On the otherhand Birdflu has been round for millions of year, its just that recently the conditions have been just right for bird flu that and a number of preventible variables caused by mankind.
