I think they'll make it a bit more expansive. It does have to compare to Melee after all.

he was also the "best" person in melee so to see him probably excited tons of people when they first saw the period. I for one loved seeing fox at the end, but wanted to see more of him too.

I'm disappointed that they only unveiled one character that we were all pretty much certain was going to be in it anyway.

Nice gameplay footage though. Metaknight looks brutal, as does Pit.

Well not every game on the Wii has to have some kind of crazy gimmick to go along with it.

dont worry, there will be more characters. but alot of them will be hidden. The ones you see now will probabily be the main line up, and as you complete the random games you unlock the other ones. along with some other new ones I hope.

omg this is so sweeet =) lol Wario's jacket said Hurry Up! xD. They attack so fast esspecially Pit =O Link looks werid, I like his look much better in SSBM

I sure hope they toned down the Reflector move for Fox since Melee..that thing is SO hacked at times Dx...I also hope if Shiek returns she is fixed along with Peach. But in either case that was cool, i hope everyone is more balanced.

So if it uses a GameCube controller, looks like a gamecube game and the Wii is backwards compatable with the GameCube. Why didn't they just release it on GameCube?

I think the game looks great and I'm looking forward to trying it out sometime in the future. The line up looks promising: I just love the fact that they included Solid Snake in it and Samus Aran looks pretty hot without that usual cyborg suit of hers :)
Anyway, the line up shown in the trailer is probably not the entire cast.. I bet there'll be some hidden characters as well.

It's even worse than Peach's D-Smash and Sheik's tilts, in my opinion atleast. >_<

Anyways...

Zero-Suit Samus tilts and that break-dance thing in the end, which she used on Link, actually looked a bit like Sheik's tilts + D-Smash. I really hope Zero-Suit Samus won't be a new Sheik.

I'm not sure why, but I get the impression that Wario probably will suck and Pit will be top-tier. I really hope that won't be the case, though.

Oh well... it's impossible to judge until I've played it, though. Afterall, the trailer doesn't say much about the potentional of the characters, really.

I found a petition that over 10,000 people signed asking for Geno to be in the next Super Smas Bros. Game. :confused:

There was also a petition for Mallow as well but not as much people signed that one.

Because by the time this game will be released, the Gamecube will already be dead. Plus, so many new things will be added to this game it probably wouldn't handle the power of the Gamecube.


Anyways, this game is starting to look fantastic. I hope to see some Golden Sun and Custom Robo characters tossed in the mix:)
