:cry: :cry: hello this is about mmorpgs......i recently quit FFXI to go with WoW and FFXI was a good game and i love it and WoW no one ever really talks and there not really nice and i just dont know what to do should i go back to FFXI or what WoW seems fun and FFXI seems so limited but i love FF and i never really played any warcraft games i have Warcraft 3 but i never got far in it..what should i do :cry: :cry:

its all your opinion...mmorpgs are not an easy thing to compair and contrast, due to extreme changes in thought.

For me, im going to keep WoW, too bad I can't play it till christmas. When I get a new 60 day card. After christmas, if you someone to talk to come to the wildhammer server.

That will surely help him figure out what he wants to do. :rolleyes2 If he likes MMORPGs, I doubt he's going to take that advice.

Anyway, FFXI and WoW depend on what you like. You need a lot of time to play FFXI. WoW is kind of like an any time thing and is much simpler.

FFXI Cons:
Battle system is a little hard to grasp at first.
It's hard to figure out what job you want to use.
Can be very overwhelming
Tedious at times
You have to pay for each character you make
You cannot choose which server you want to be on
PlayOnline is a pain in the ass
Very limited character customization

FFXI Pros:
Good community
You can change your job
A decent array of races to choose from
Many servers
Customizable interfaces
Party system is good
Many familiar jobs

WoW Cons:
PvP servers can be really pissy
The Alliance are babies
Quests can get repetetive
Looking for a party is boring
A lot of abbreviations to learn
There are some complete douchebags
You can't wear helms till your like, lvl 35 or something.

Wow Pros:
Fairly good community
Wide array of weapons/armor
PvP can be fun
Dungeons are fun
Auction House is a great place to get items
Money system is pretty cool


Theres probably some I'm forgetting, but that might help make up your mind.
