<a href=http://www.gamespot.com/news/6161088.html?part=rss&tag=gs_news&subj=6161088>This is the bastard son of a treadmill and a PS2.</a>

I really hope this thing doesn't fly and start selling millions. If you want to exercise while playing video games, play some Dance Dance. ;)

Wouldn't it be better to have a treadmill that powered the console? You gotta keep peddling if you don't want to lose that FFXII save.

Very soon, all consoles will come with those devices built in.

:p

Kids are clever, they'll just trick their little sister or an exchange student to do the running.

The UK is responsible for like 1/3 of the world's inventions of the 19th century.

And I'll just make this up and say America was responsible for 2/3 of the world's inventions of the 21st century. :magus:

Then Norway came up with the paperclip. :p

Levian

Norway was responsible for the paperclip and we're damned proud of that fyi.
I can't imagine what the world would be like without the paperclip, including Microsoft Word.

I don't like it for obvious reasons... Playing video games should be relaxing and not making your legs hurt.

The UK actually came up with a nifty invention.y halo there television (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Logie_Baird), programmable computer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Babbage) and world wide web (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Berners_Lee), whatcha knowin'? And the English language itself, I see you've joined the party. Boy, I bet good ol' Magus of Zeal could make posts like that on EoFF without all of you guys!

I'd include the telephone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Graham_Bell) too but the US Congress would send angry republicans to my house to call me a limey or something else hurtful.

Anywho, am I the only one who found the caption on that page "Sweatin' with the young ones." disturbing?

I remember seeing something like this on a show before. I think I was watching Daily Planet. Anyways they had these sneakers that would turn off and on the TV depending on how many steps (or was it distance?) that the child would take. So basically, they could only watch so much TV or play video games so long before it would turn them off, then they would have to walk more. My only thing is, who wears sneakers in the house?

man anyone that buys this for their kid is probably going to know less about video game equipment than the kid they are buying it for so the kid could just do what I would do. unhook it and hide the cords then the parents would be like wtf its not working my kid is still fat.

I thought that was what the PSP was invented for.

lol

The UK actually came up with a nifty invention.

Considering how the English pretty much made America when we went over and killed all the Natives, we could be considered responsible for every American invention too. LOL PEDANTIC-LICIOUS.

Yes. Yes it is. Still, it's always fun to laugh at fat kids, eh Levian?

Anywho, am I the only one who found the caption on that page "Sweatin' with the young ones." disturbing? No. You're not. That machine is trash. But as long as it makes plenty of children miserable, I don't oppose it. Infact, my mum was going to get my little sister a playstation, an she's been naughty recently, so I think she deserves one of those. HA HA that will teach you to oppose me! :greenking Go an play on your little treadmill you fiend.
