ok sooo im at the place where im about to go to arcadia as in about to go to nalbina...i dont want to be too descriptive so i dont spoil but anyway i so far have mainly used only 3 characters: Ashe:Tank, Vaan:DD/magick, and Penelo:DD/Support/Magick. and even tho i dont use 3 of them all 6 of my characters have their 3 quickenings

anyway i just really think i need to lvl up Fran Balthier and Basch...Fran is 12 Baltheir is 8 and Basch is 11. But what do you guys think i should go to lvl up those 3 together?? i want all 6 characters at lvl 30 be4 i go on plus i dont feel i have 1 character that is focused on magick...Penelo uses Poles/Ninja Swords Ashe uses swords and Vaan uses Spears so i dont really have a character that isnt always frontline, i kno i prolly should make Balthier and Fran ranged mages

suggestions would be amazing =)

Whoa... dude, you do need some levels. Balthier's magic power is actually pretty low, so I don't recommend magic for him. Fran is good with magic, though. Just give Basch a hammer/axe and some armor and he'll own.

A good place to level those guys is probably the Lhusu Mines. Just go to the second bridge and start chaining Skeletons. You get tons of loot and xp.

Yea.
Everyone has the same stat. Just the appearance is different.
No on is stronger or weaker.
If all your character's license board is full, you can see they are all the same.

i actually was thinking about taking them to the lhusu mines but i dunno what weapons to give them

i kno balthier comes with a gun and fran with a bow but are those weapons at all decent?

cause to me the attack power is kinda low...i was thinking about giving balthier light armor and giving him a decent weapon and fran mistic armor with a bow for distance that should be good right??

Wrong. Everyone Speed, Vitality, Magicks Power and Strength is different. Their Defense, Magicks Resist, Evasion, Magicks Evasion and Attack depends on their equipment. For example, Basch have the best strength while Ashe have the best magicks power. Speed, Vitality, Magicks Power, Strength, HP and MP can only be increased by levelling up (Quickenings increased MP, HP Plus increased HP, Mage Armor increase a little bit magicks power, Heavy Armor increased a little bit strength, Shirt Armor increased a little bit HP).

Moreover, you'll want to note that this classification between characters stronger > weaker in one category (HP, Strength, MP, whatever) changes throughout the game. But there are general trends, for instance, Balthier's Magick stats (MP and Magick Power) are weaker than everyone else's save Basch

uhhhmm...me thinks the reason that they designed the liscence board like that is for you to have a little buff so you wont have nightmares coz remember its not turn-based its ADB,battle system is much much much harder coz enemies can surround u like freakin ants..so anyone can heal, do long range attacks etc. w/c gvs u a bit of advantage..and,stats are based on ur armor and weapon!hah!so i suggest,u stick with the three!!ok??level them up,start hunting,and buy the skill "bubble" w/c doubles ur HP!(m not gona tell u wer to buy that skill)wear strong armor,powerfull weapons,and start kickin ass...but strongly suggest that you also level-up basche, his quickenings do great damage..:D
