The Pirates scare me...

This is the second time I met with the Pirates.

I was like "Where did that neat ship music go?" then a look to my left, boss music starts... I run inside, take some very poor screenies n_n *didn’t want to get to close*


an AFKer died and a person fishing... fished almost the whole time >_>...

ship left eventually :D the end (oh, and it was sunny instead of foggy...). I was currently going to Valkurm leveling my BLM sub on Kurodoberi (who is 26 hours of age earth time :D).

edit: topic, what is/was your reaction when you encountered/first encountered the Pirates?

I loved them. :D I wanted to level quickly so I could kill them, and that's what I do now. >:D

But don't go Pirate Hunting with Miriel, because she attracts the big elite Pirates that kill EVERYBODY. >:(

Blackbeard can be killed by a party of 75s, apparently, regular crossbones just check as EP to me at 34.

I think i was lvl 9 Rdm. (goin' for my first time to valkurm) when i first encounter'd pirates ... i thought they look'd cool so i ran up to hug one ... and it hack'd me to peices right there and then ... since then i try to kill as many as i can when i see them >.<

You shouldn't have a lot of trouble killing the crossbones as a lv30 white mage, I think. White mages are good against the undead.

I got killed by him one time. A lvl 75 Red Mage/White Mage Taru tried to protect me, but he also got killed. He even tried to escape by casting Teleport. Poor guy:(

The first time I ran into blackbeard I was only lvl 15. Luckily I checked them before attacking and realizing they were too powerful for me, I ran to the helm to watch everyone die...except for one mage who warped away. Since then I have never ran into them again :p

One time i was on my Whm and i thought that since i was like 30+ I could take a skeleton on and help out with the killin'

I was sooo mistaken, I hit one and then they all wanted a piece of me .. not to mention there was an NM skeleton pop'd right infront of me and took me out in 2 hits. I think it was premeditated... :lol:

I gota raise from a 75 rdm/whm and tried to run but got slaughtered again so i gave up and waited to dock.

I ran into a bit of a problem on my first one... I went AFK for 3 mins then when I got back I was dead with skeletons around my body, I got a raise but one dude got arrgo and ran to cargo room and got us raped. I got raised again... only to notice I develed >.> the pirates went away but then a Sea horror poped in front of me.. /sigh :rolleyes2
