The thread topic is have you ever wondered how people would react if you where banned. This popped into my mind with the the banning of ~SS~


Sadly, I came to the conclusion that probably noone would care :cry:
But I have wondered

If I recall correctly when I was banned here people made a few threads...then they decided people can't asked to be banned for a short time :D

How people would react now since the site started growing since the year 2000...who knows.

I haven't really made a big enough impact here for people to really care. There'd be a select few, probably the people who frequent my usernotes and a couple of innocent bystanders but other than that.....then again, I am usually pretty shocked when any member who has been here for a while is banned so perhaps it would be similar if I was banned.

I don't think many people would care, really, although if the one who was banned was someone well known, that could cause a reaction of some proportions. For example, when the staff pulled the April's Fool joke where Kishi posted porn and got himself banned, that caused some reaction. When PeTeRL90, Baloki and HOOTERS were banned, I think that also got some reaction. It's too bad to see ~SS~ getting banned, but I don't think that can be helped. Well, I honestly wouldn't even worry about it. Besides, there's bigger fish to fry.

However, I think if a very well-known and well-respected member got banned, I'd probably be making comparisons to Pete Rose. Now that I bring it up...~SapphireStar~ in a sense is the Pete Rose of EoFF. Pete Rose's ban from baseball was controversial when the ban happened, and still is to this day, and ~SapphireStar~'s ban from EoFF is already controversial, given the apparent support for her right after the fact.

Nah, it's only the real characters that people miss. The lovely EoFF staff seem to ban interesting people quite a lot. Okay, they may be foul-mouthed, egomaniac idiots or just completely nonsensical (hi kirk81!), but at least they're amusing.
