Unless you provide evidence from this "semi-reliable" source, noone is going to believe you.

If there was going to be an X-3, there would have been news on it already.

Seeing as SE are focusing on localisation of FFXII, the sequel of FFXII: Revenant Wings, and the FFXIII series, I don't see them returning to the X world.

If you want to discuss a sequel to FFX-2 in hypothetical terms, I'm sure there are roughly a dozen threads on that topic going on in the FFX-2 forum right now. But trying to assert that "FFX-3" is actually in the works is just rumormongering, which is so very not allowed.
