Mob Hunts

I just got FFXII and i hav 2 ?'s. First off im fighting this Mob Hunt Monster called Thextra and i cant beat it. Im wondering if mayb my level is too low(Vaan lvl 3) or if its somtin else. My second ? is how long i should spend on the Mob Hunts. For example say i beat Thextra should i continue on wit the main story or just keep doing mob hunts?

Yeah, you're way too underleveled to do that. Wait until Penelo tags along before you kill that thing.

I just do the hunts and elite marks when I feel like straying from the main story. Just do them at your own pace.

Wait until Basch, Balthier and Fran joins your party. He's pathetically weak to Wind Magicks, use Aero, which you can get in Tomb of Raithwall.

i suggest you hit level 15 first...that way, you have all the permanent characters and advance skills...and when you hunt, you wont have a hard time...that means alot of vanquished marks in a row..

I suggest being at at least lvl 5 and waiting until you have Penelo with you. Once I had her with me, it made a big difference and I took him down no problem. It's just too hard on your own what with the other wolves to deal with at the same time.

Have a question about the mob hunt for the ghost in low town. I can't find it anywhere even in the sewer waterway.

It's right in the first room. Just run around for a bit and the Wraith will show up eventually.

Which room? The waterway which Vaan enters when he tries goes through the palace?

The only one that's open, where you start the game at.

yeah but when you go into the room and walk around, it will come out of the ground. You also should have remedy plus for doom cause he uses it.

It`s in the waterway area that you start vaan off in. Walk around the middle of the area.
