I swear this isn't the same topic as was posted in the other thread, Moddies.

So, I find myself checking my usernotes bin every other day to see if anyone posted...and today, someone actually did! Felt like happiness.

So my question is... do you look forward to people posting in your usernotes? Do you even know that there IS a usernote system in place (and if you don't, you obviously haven't been reading the General Chat boards for very long)? Is it a high point in your day to discover that a usernote has been posted?

I feel delighted when someone posts in mine. I always give a reply back. Though I still can't show my gratitude by giving them one back.

It's like watching a cat chase a flashlight beam-spot.

It's cool because I think it lightens the mood on teh forum in which it can be difficult to get to know many people since it is a popular and booming site. I love receiving them and giving them out as well.

I like receiving usernotes, but I don't really know people well enough to give out too many.

The ones I do make are tough to give out, because I can only go by what little I can gather about them with my very small and incomprehensible wit.

But either way they're fun.

I enjoy receiving user notes full of philosophical ideas and heartfelt advice to better myself and the world. My usernotes are a wonderful discussion of such things.

User notes are in a pain in the ass place to get to so I usually end up not looking at them for months and I have no desire to go out of my way to leave someone a user note.

Maybe they are in a tough to get to place because I am old school and use the old style and don't use fancy pants drop down menus and crap.

^ That's true, it took me weeks to even realize that there WERE usernotes to begin with. Maybe they should be easier to access?

I usually just check when I come online. Getting user notes is nice :)

Usernotes are half the reason I spend so long logged in, those and PMs. I mean some things are a little too private for the open chat or usernotes and not everyone is on my msn list lol. I love recieving them and always find time to post one for them even if it is a bit crap or just "Random Usernote back to you" or something but it often takes me a few days to get them done, so if you leave me one and it's not like 10 mins later give me a chance ok. I post some to people like Levian and Shlup but I get no replies which makes me go :( but I get plenty from people like, Xander and Psy.

I agree though about usernotes, maybe we ought to put a link in the quicklinks to them? I do however bookmark the first page of the ones from important members (well the important ones in my perspective) I have a little folder called "usernotes" from there it is easy enough to click last or the page number and read up and post one or two.

I like giving and recieving User Notes :) It can be quite fun.

I post in some User Notes wayyyyyyyy more then others though. The main places I Post in are RiseToFalls, Anaisa's, Resha's and Quin 'N' Tonics. :)

But I do give to others too, when I see certain people online.

I like receiving usernotes as well. Though I'm not really good at giving them out considering I have a hard time deciding what I want to say in one. I think I've neglected a few people who have deserved usernotes, but I'll probably end up giving them out someday when I come up with something clever enough to say.

I just learned how to post in usernotes tonight I feel happy and sort of pathetic. But then I don't join many forums so the fact i act like a newb isn't surprising.

I love to get usernotes. I love it so much that usually I have a link to my usernotes in my sig. Right now it just has a MGS2 quote for rememberance day-ness.

I don't really know. I think I wasn't actively posting here when Usernotes were first introduced, so when I started posting again I didn't even notice them. The only thing I can relate them to is a guestbook on a website... or comments in a journal. Interesting, but not necessary.

usernotes rule as all spam does! (except for that crappy tinned meat) its a shame it frowned upon...:(

For people that actually get usernotes:mad: what are you favorites?

Piglets are made of ownage and win, that's what.

This is the best thing I've ever read.

Except for, of course, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

You can cosplay Yuna and I can cosplay Tidus and then we will have buttsex in a lake just like they did in the game.

Oh wait this is one of those times where it's best that I don't hit the "Submit Note" button, isn't it? Farewell remaining shreds of dignity and class.

I don't know if it's a favorite, but it's certainly memorable...

Actually, I think this is my favorite-

Anything goes in the underworld.

LunarWeaver

Oh, we get to list our favorites. Let's see. I like the first words roto ever said to me:

Let's spoon.

I'm also fond of my very first ever user note I ever got. It's special because it reminds me I'm unpopular everytime I go into my profile:

Wow I cant believe you've been here since 2004 and still havent gotten a usernote  Anyways here :D *gives usernote*

Don't blame Liz, blame me for having an odd leer in my eye that drives others away.
