What is Quina? Boy or girl?

I'v always wondered what Quina is. S\he sort of looks like a girl, and the name Quina sounds like a girl... but I could see Quina being a boy as well.

I've seen this way too many times before. I think the conclusion usually reached is that Quina's gender is indeterminable, and therefore asexual. Either that, or people stop caring just long enough that they forget and start yet another one of these threads.:p

I prefer to think of Quina as a girl because she can equip tiaras and Zidane's 'Protect Girls' abiltity works on him/her. Plus he/she wears stockings.

Also I was wondering, is Quina the chef in Alexandria castle in the beginning? It looks just like him/her.

Actually, remember Vivi's Qu Grandfather? That implies Quan was a male Qu, proving that Qu's do have genders.

And the Qu tribe are horrible at English. I always screw my pronouns up when speaking another language.

Quina wears pink and light red. Highly unlikely to actually be a he.

The first time you visit South Gate when heading to Gizzy Grotto, Freya says "I should be more like him, carefree..." or something along those lines. However, in Condie Petie s/he marries Vivi, so unless they were gay, Quina'd have to be a girl, so it makes no real sense. I always referred to him/her as 'him' simply because it's easier to say than 'her', lol.

...Some people say protect girls works and some say it doesnt, protect girls never worked for me with ANY character, so I just checked it as useless ability and never used it again... but she cant use female only equipment such as pearl rouge, barette, etc...
