Ever since I made my avatar feminine I've been thinking that I'm a totally different member. I usually don't think that when I change my avatars.

Have you ever had an opposite gender avatar? How did it feel when you had one for the first time?

Note: This thread has a different topic than this one (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=96706). That other thread was asking about when others have an opposite gender avatar while this thread is asking about when you have an opposite gender avatar.

I was frightened I'd get pregnant with my female avatar and sig, so I quickly ran to fetch one with a male.

Yeah I have. :shifty: A few times, actually, though not for awhile. And honestly it didn't feel any different. It was pretty whatever.

Edit: whoops

I'm not sure if I ever actually used one. I might've used Haruka from FLCL for a short time, but that wouldn't feel weird. Because she's awesome. And because I've used the same picture as an avatar on MSN/AIM for a long time.

I was thinking about using a Morrigan avatar, but I decided to just use her as my sig and use Jedah as my avatar, since they're my favorites.

I'd love it if I were Celes. Wait, no I wouldn't.

I've never had a female avatar or sig, and I'm not going to either ever.

This avatar is here to stay, and my sig usually just has text, but for now it's changed to a picture and quote for rememberance day-ness.

My avatars are always male (although I had Cait Sith on another forum, but he's sorta male). I'm afraid that if I use a female in my avatar I'll be mistaken for a girl (and if you use a female I'll mistake you for a girl) so I like to stick with males.

I used a cow avatar once. The cow was very vague about its gender

I don't feel comfortable using any other avatar than this now. I get that WHO ARE YOU?! feeling.

I've used an Aeris avatar for a day or two (as sexyrothishere up there described), a wonder woman avatar for a few weeks and an anime girl for a few days. Nothing I was ever planning to stick with.

I am just too lazy to change my avatar, which despite the lack of people ISN'T SO AMBIGUOUS. I dunno. I do use pictures of guys as my MSN icon, though, and that is deliciously misleading.

I've never had such an avatar... I might get one one day, though... you'll never know :)

I used to have a Laguna from FFVIII avatar and sig, I had those (3 different ones) for a long time then I left and came back and had started using female avatars and sigs at another site (since the two have to match for me) It doesn't make me feel any different than what I am so therefore I don't mind. Though it does give me interesting comedy moments when guys hit on me without looking close enough at my posts or profile to realise I am male.

I pretty much always have a female avatar, and usually it's Zhang Ziyi. I think I had Winnie-the-Pooh once, and that's probably the only time I've had an avatar of the same gender (although I'm not a bear. Really).

It's not really cricket, though.
