I just watched that movie a couple days ago and just loved it! Even though it was kinda short it was still good. I like they combine the worlds, our world with Shambala or so they called it. I don't get something though, every time they go through the gate why does eveything get all mutated-like? It is awesome though, and anybody that hasn't seen that has seen the anime series should definitely go and buy it ,or rent it if you please, just watch it somehow. Even if you haven't seen the anime, you should still watch it.

The movie isn't a sequel to the anime series. Oh well. :(

It is.

Well, I personally think it's pretty average. The lack of alchemy battles in the movie actually bothers me a little.:moomba:

Goodies: Al is handsome. Armstrong still keeps his sparks. A new girl.
Baddies: LACK OF ALCHEMY. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THIS IS A MOVIE ON ALCHEMY! IF THE ONLY ALCHEMY IS SHOWN FOR LIKE TEN MINUTES IN THE MOVIE, WHYYYYYYY BOTHER? Roy's eyepatch looks retarded.

Yeah Roy's Eyepatch is really gay, but I say, Nazi's and Jew's and an Animated Hitler have to give something to this.

Well, there is no Alchemy for most of the movie because it takes place in the 'real world', where 'Alchemy' doesn't exist. I thought it was a nice touch at the beginning where Ed claps his hands and says something like "I just felt like doing that."

It was meant to be different from the anime series, otherwise it would have been just like watching a normal episode of the show and not much to differentiate it. Bones (the people who made the show) seem to like doing things like that.

I also thought it was a nice touch to the movie it made it a lot different, in a good way. But I'm confused on why Ed can't use Alchemy because alchemy is within the person. Alchemy means to be able to understand the components, deconstruct them and reconstruct them to make something different. So shouldn't he be able to do it?
