View Full Version : Next Stage of Human Evolution

The Devil Man
11-22-2006, 02:24 PM
As you all know (well most of you anyways) Humans evolved from Baboons or some such creature.

This Evolutionary process took thousands of years until we became who we are today, homosapiens with two arms, two legs, two eyes, etc...

Devil Man's Topic of Discussion is therefore:

What do you wanna evolve next? :hyper:

Devil Man would absolutely LOVE to have an extra arm! Then he could eat chocolate cake whilst playing Final Fantasy 8

And maybe an extra eye too, as Beautiful Goddesses often tell Devil Man he has beautiful eyes. I have two brown eyes, so I'd like a nice pretty blue one :hyper:

Oh, and he'd definetly like a nice set of boobies as well

But forget Your Good Friend Devil Man for a moment, and instead tell him...

What would yoooooooooooou like to evolve next?

I don't know, but I hope there is a show similar to the Simpsons and they have five fingers while real-life people have six, so the young girl/boy character can say "Six fingers? Ewww..." when discussing what people in the future will be like.

Biological evolution is, barring incredible catastrophe, over in Humans. It is all about technology now. You'll see this in about twenty to forty years, although it's pretty easy to see it already happening today.

And we'll be able to be just about whatever want to.

Edit: Nominus, that's exactly what's going to happen.

I wouldn't mind the whole wings thing however that would make for frail bones and I quite like not breaking a bone EVERY time I fall over. I guess I wouldn't mind evolving a better way for the body to heal itself without scarring.

im with you on this one

though i was reading this book about people who called why penguins feet dont freeze and another 114 questions or soemt and soem ones question was why do people some times sneeze when they move from shade into light now one guy had an answer related to this thread about how when global warming comes really badly people with this "light sneeze" will live longer as they shall not go blind as quickly as the rest of you (i some times get light sneeze =D) because of ultra violet light entering the atmpshpere or somet like that

I'd want an extra arm out of my ass, that way I could moon someone, give them the bird, and then start a slow clap.

I fairly strongly believe that the next step in human evolution is to merge itself with technology.

So I'd say something like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/Jebusabsolute/3rdof5Hugh.jpg

Resistance is futile, after all.

no no no in the Simpsons they have only four fingers or 3 if you're one of those people who say thumbs aren't fingers and we have five/four.

I do not know what will happen to us in thousands of years.

Natural selection != evolution. Also, modern medicine only accounts for a very small percentage of defense against bacteria, viruses, spores, etc. Evolution is not a process humans can stop at will. It happens through sexual selection, mutation, and of course natural selection. Believing otherwise gives too much credit to humans. We're after all just animals.
