Sigur Ros

I am confused. So many people fall in love with these guys, and i think they suck. What am i missing here because all it sounds like to me is "ahhh ahhhhh aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh" and boring background music. I got this CD thats got an all-white cover and i hated it so much.

Why does every1 like this so much is my question. That is all i ask.

Tell me, what qualifies as good music to you? I'm curious to know.

Sigur Ros is pretty polarizing. Either you love the sheer beauty and emotion of their songs, or you find it stupid and boring like you obviously do. There's not really anything you can say to explain why you like it, you just do. Such is the same with most of your favorite bands.

Well put simply I think Sigur Ros are brilliant but they are certainly not for everyone with the length of their songs and the vocals and jus their general style - doesn't help you got their 2002 album () which is probably the hardest to get into of theirs. But don't worry no-ones perfect ;)

Made a few good tunes but the rest are only average, there overrated.
