This is the reason why I don't have much pictures on the internet (http://when-your-picture-gets-on-the-internet.funnypart.com/).

Do you have a picture of yourself on the internet? Why/Why Not? Do you think it's safe? Has your opinion of putting pictures of yourself on the internet changed because of the link in my post?

I only have one picture of myself on the internet that I know of and I don't want a lot of you knowing where it is.

There aren't any pictures of me on the internet. I hate having my photograph taken, so there are hardly any in existence that are beyond the age of six. Most pictures of me are from when I was a baby an couldn't avoid being photographed. So if I was going to show someone a photograph of me I'd have to go to the trouble of actually taking one. An since I hate having my picture taken, I'm not going to do that. If I happen to have one taken then I might show it to some people who want to know what I look like.

I used to be really afraid of that stuff. :D When I first came here I was still under the impression that everyone on the internet was out to get me. And the first pictures I DID put up were all blurry or didn't show my face. Silly. And uh, I used to have some up here, but then I took them down, but I still put one in my profile every now and then.

About five years ago when I was chatting on AOL asking a girl for her picture was so easy to do and unsurprisingly there were a handful of girls claiming to be the same person. There's no way I'd put my picture on the 'net anywhere. Even though they're watching you already. I mean, they know everything about you. What you eat, how you dress. You think they don't have access to your credit card purchases? Even your library history is in a database somewhere. So you don't think it would be so hard for them to just get a little snapshot? No. I already had a fair idea that kind of stuff happens, and I have never cared. That kind of stuff doesn’t happen to me, anyway.

Generally speaking, you're safe unless you become a bandwagon on 'b' (I'm not going to give the full name of the place for obvious reasons involving google) where 99% of such images come from, and that normally only happens to people with "funny" faces or poses like that kid there. Then yes, your life is screwed, but the chances of ending up a 'b' bandwagon are pretty remote, and usually you have to be some poor soul with a disease / deformity (it's a very sick and childish place) in which case chances are you're either used to it or have too many problems to notice.

I'm not bothered what people think of me, whatever happens happens and I'll just laugh it off. There are plenty of pictures of me tucked away in various corners of the internet, with face, and not all of them are clothed. (I'm a bit of a slut sometimes :p) - they're only in places where I can trust people, and only the most spiteful person would send your picture to 'b' and tell them to play with it.
