My only advice is that you ought to devote the kind of effort you put into your scenery into your characters as well. The kid is stiff and two-dimensional, and the fact that everything surrounding him is so pretty just makes it more distracting.

Those are fantastic. But yes, Kishi hit it right on the head, the kid needs more detail, because everything else is so gorgeous that it kind of alienates him.

I didnt see the first ones either but I like the second set a lot. You have really solid cross hatching and I look forward to seeing more.

You really grasp the sense of story telling and poetic gesture found in manga. It flows harmoniously, the imagery and the content. I feel sometimes your lines appear a little too rigid though.
