For me, Luigi is the better brother because he gets my sympathy vote. Everybody loves Mario (except Bill Gates and Ken Kutaragi) but Luigi never gets enough love :(

Whenever my brother and I would play, I'd always be Luigi. He seemed like the younger brother (like I am) so I sorta identify with him (except for the Italian thing).
