Cats. Dogs are big and stupid and smelly. And you don't have to take cats for a walk, which is such a bonus.

Just a pity that my cat likes to attack my leg. :(

Mine prefers my arm. He leaps from the floor up to my arm and latches on.

Dogs are best, because they're great whilst puppies and once they grow up into big dogs!

Dogs. By far. Cats are too stuck-up, and useless.

Aside from always being friendly, and happy to be in your presence, dogs have functional purpose, like seeing-eye dogs, hunting, guard dogs, search and rescue, etc.

All cats do is lie around, scratch $hit up, act snooty, and have bowel movements in a litter box.

Dogs win.
