I never talked about this to anyone, in fact I don't even care anymore its all behind me. So thats why iam going to tell you one of my private stories I never talked about before but feels good to let it out to a bunch of people I don't know at all. So with that here goes, Meow :moomba:

A while back me and my family were having some difficulties. These problems tore us apart. I was really scared those days unsure of how things were going to turn up, but not turn out! I knew very well I wasn't going to lets things end wrong! But during that process I ended up somehow alone and without a home on the streets of a forghien (sorry spelling?) country (my country of birth were we were taking a vacation sort of). In any case I spent the nights on the street and a roof while my family stayed at homes. I wasn't mad or sad just scared, I couldn't talk the native language and was surrounded by hostile people (at least to those who are from america)

To end the story on my second night a stray cat walked in my direction were I was sitting dirty and exusted from the day and well just rubbed on my leg and showed effection. I named him zack (but later found out it was a girl.) The cat made me really happy on those nights of being alone and after a week of spending time with each other coming by every night to the same trash bin I felt happy. The end came and after two weeks I was off to america and a family problem resolved with my family broken in two.

*In any case could you tell me a time when you were comforted by an animal or person (probably a rare thing) when your life took a drop, thanks

I don't care if this is General Chat. That comment was rude. Do not go there. ~ Leeza

Hmm, seems I got edited by some holier-than-thou-ultra-kind-hearted-woman-matriarchal-figure-that-makes-you-want-to-hurl-everytime-you-read-something-she-types thing. :<

Cut the attitude if you want to stay here for very much longer.

Does she bring you Vodka, Comrade?

When I feel down I either read or steal art from deviantART. That usually gives me a massive pick up :)

Talking to my boyfriend and my friends, listening to music, reading, singing, photography, art, and other things to just get my mind off of whatever's wrong. :)

I typically sit on my misery for a good while, then either vent it on a friend or just go to sleep. Sleep is good.

OMG you were in so much danger!!! I'm glad you survived the "stray cat" ordeal with no permanent scars! (Sorry, I can't help it, I'm a mom of 3 the world never looks friendly and safe enough after you have kids).

When I'm down I usually have a good cry at my pillow alone at night, it feels like the sadness is pouring out with the tears and it leaves me refreshed.

Cuddling up with my kids (and my 2 dogs or my cat) works too. In liew of that, I also eat a bucket of ice cream or chocolate, listen to some music, watch a comedy movie, play a nice video game or read a book. Anything to keep my mind off what is hurting, at least for a while.

My cat has an odd thing about visiting me when I am blue. Besides that I will listen to music, or just do something to distract me. Ice cream and other stuff are good bing foods too.

Videogames.

(This seems to be my answer to everything these days.)

It helps me relax and takes my mind off things.

I always feel better when talking to my good friend Alli. She's pretty much the greatest person you could meet. If she's not around or online I just work on my stories. That helps get my mind off of things.

I call up my cousin, she's really great. No matter how sad I feel, she's always managed to get me to laugh, and that helps me feel a lot better. If she's not around, I get a good book and eat some ice cream. Yum.

Taking nice long showers and sleeping normally helps me. Or just going to my friend Jordan's house even though i know I'll be kicked out immediatly by the mother just being there always just helps me or makes me feel worse for the crap i know Jordan has to go through.

Young man, there's no need to feel down! I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground! I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town there's no need to be unhappy! Young man, there's a place you can go! I said, young man, when you're short on your dough! You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find many ways to have a good time! It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a! It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a! They have everything for young men to enjoy, You can hang out with all the boys!

Yeah, same here. But music also helps, but only traditional Irish music of longing, pain and suffering. :(!

Music (when I'm upset, Pantera is very effective), comedy, video games, angry rampages, reading, sleeping, and talking to friends. The most effective would be being around my girlfriend, she cheers me up.

I usually just sleep or stew within my hate and anger for a good while, and then it goes away. A nice, long FFVII/VIII theory is basically an opium as well.

I was going to post something snarky, but then I completely read the first post and now I'm sad. Way to go.

My cat tends not to cheer me up. He's more likely to annoy the crap out of me. Sometimes the annoyance is comforting though.

No don't be sad for me iam doing great right now compared to people who really have there life plummet and hit the ground like children who are starving over seas, people suffering endless misery because of the current wars and things just generally going wrong for just about everyone on this planet so its good to have something to comfort you when your down because the important thing is, it may not hurt so bad a few years later.

Come on lets gear into high spirits :D and tell what comforts you when your down

Having friends who cares for me as much as I care for them. Thier standing by my side means alot and prove to those who think I am alone that I am not. Friends are who pull my anger from me and make troubles go away.
It is priceless to have friends like these, priceless. :)

I argue and kick things when I'm frustrated. I remember I broke a metal pole one time on a tree, and smashed it in half on my knee that I was so mad. Quenches my thirst.
