I have no idea what the first album I got was. I can't remember, but it was probably one of those ghetto compilation albums. The last album I got was DJ Shadow - The Private Press.

edit: I might have told you a lie, there, I think it was actually the self-titled album by Wintersun. Qualitey album it is, too.

Going to get a couple of Moonsorrow albums now. :monster:

My first was 'Bad' by Michael Jackson. I've still got it, although I haven't played it for about 15 years since it's on vinyl (and, um, because I don't like it that much).

My last album was 'Ys' by Joanna Newsom.

Arrr.

First album I ever bought was Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Metallica by Metallica was the first CD I recieved from someone as a gift. The last album I bought was The Eraser by Thom Yorke and Black Holes and Revelations by Muse. Picked 'em up at the same time, I did

I usually only buy albums by established artists that I enjoy a lot. Although that has pretty much been dropped, as I now pretty much refuse to buy any CD ever.

My first would've been the soundtrack to The Mask on cassette.

Most recent was the concurrent purchase of Mew - And The Glass Handed Kites and Lady Sovereign - Public Warning.

I can’t remember what the first album I actually paid for was. Hmm. For simplicity, I am going to take a guess and say it was Silverchair’s Frogstomp. The last album I bought would have been Beck’s The Information. And that was ages ago! Maybe I will go down to the record store later on today.

First album, some Weird Al album, which progressed into Green Day, which progressed into Bush and Nirvana.

Latest album, well let's just say the latest I've "purchased, owned" whatever was The Chariot (and it has a long title, please don't make me type it out.)

I've already posted once, but I started the thread, so I make the rules! Or something along those lines...

I just picked up "Silent Force" by Within Temptation off of e-Bay. If you guys don't know who they are, I suggest downloading a couple of tracks or hit up YouTube, you will walk away from the situation very satisfied.
