What are your impressions on Daniel Craig as James Bond? I have not seen Casino Royale yet, so I can't make a judgment on him yet.

And while I'm at it, who do you think is the best James Bond?

I actually think that Craig has done the best job playing Bond. He was bloody brilliant in Casino Royale. So wonderfully violent, brutal, sarcastic and human.

The movie itself is also a real treat - I cannot get it out of my mind.

Daniel needs to stop pouting, it's really annoying.

Brosnan ftw. He was the best suited, whether his Bond movies were good or not.

I really liked Daniel Craig's performance. I like the darker Bonds. Brosnan and Moore are cheesier than a slice of cheese on a cracker, without the cracker.

Um, I even prefer him to Connery.

Hating a Bond just based on the fact they're blonde seems really ignorant and biased, in my opinion.

It's not like he's a platinum blond or anything. His hair looks suitably dark most of the time; and it's pretty irrelevant anyway. Craig was fantastic as Bond, and he was also really good in Layer Cake. I think Craig actually plays the "best" Bond in the sense that he is the closest to the hard-edge, vicious character Ian Fleming created. Connery, however, will always be the original and the classic, and has a bit of charisma that Craig lacked.

Have you actually seen the movie? Daniel Craig is probably the most ripped Bond there's ever been. He's just as muscular, and probably moreso, than any of the ones who've come before him. And since Casino Royale is a "beginning" tale of sorts, he's also more brutal than in any other film. He's undeniably Bond at his least "wimpy" ever. I mean...Roger Moore? George Lazenby? C'mon, Daniel Craig could out act them and beat them to a bloody pulp with ease.

I just saw it last night and I have to agree on all counts. Daniel Craig is easily the best Bond of them all in my eyes.

I thought Daniel Craig was a very good Bond, can't wait for the next one to come out ;). While I really like Connery, Brosnan, and Craig, I'm gonna have to go with Sean Connery for the win. In my eyes I just see him as the "original" Bond.

It's a tie between Craig and Connery.

Craig and/or Connery, definitely. Brosnan was lovely and wonderful to look at, but he was just too...too smooth, I guess? The way Daniel Craig portrays Bond makes him seem human, someone you can actually relate to. Connery was brilliant both as the original Bond and just because of that sarky little grin he gave the ladies.

Craig was good, but not the best. He shone out with his gritty down to earth style of Bond but lacked the wit which every Bond has to have.

Connery was the best.
