Which do you prefer, a quick hose down in a shower or a nice relaxing bath? I prefer showers because washing my hair in the bath is a real pain.

My preference would be a shower.

Although I love to relax in the bath now and then, some candles...relaxing music... *sighs dreamily*

I shower. It's much easier if you're always running late.

I prefer the bath myself - very relaxing. However, as I don't have the time, it's always showers lately. I still prefer baths though.

If I took a bath there would just be water all over the place 'cause of me reenacting Spanish Armada vs. British Navy. So shower is the way to go. I always feel cleaner after taking a shower anyway.

I shower even though sometimes I'd like to bath :(

if i just want to clean my body i have a shower. if i want to relax i have a bath. always remember to shower after a bath. you need to wash off all the filth you've been siting in.

...depends. If I'm washing my hair I much prefer to have a shower. If I'm not, or my feet hurt (which is almost daily) then a bath. As long as I'm washed daily I don't really care how I do it.

I can't remember the last time I took a bath.

Showers. Although, I don't have a 'quick hose down', I take forever in the shower. :jess:

I love taking baths! It's just so darn relaxing and it just feels fantastic. We don't have a tub anymore, though, but if we had I doubt I'd be using it that much - it just takes too much water and time.

Showers for quickness. Baths for relaxing. Too bad I don't have a bathtub. When I get one, I'll make sure it can fit two :].

I adore showers, although I don't have one at my flat. I just have a hand-held showerhead thingy you attach to the taps. It's okay, but man, I can't wait 'til the day I have enough money to invest in a flat with a shower in it. Manohman I love spending ages in them, just basking in the hot water. Mmmm.

I take bubblebaths when I have time to relax, which is unfortunately quite rare nowadays.

Five minutes in the shower every morning before work. Eight if I need to get rid of the five o' clock.

When I buy my own home it's not even going to have a bathtub in it, only a shower.

Baths. Feh. Stewing in your own filth.

I don't have a bathtub, but even if I did, I'd still prefer the shower.

Baths are petri dishes for all sorts of bacteria falling off of you. No thanks. They're fine if you just want to relax, but for serious cleaning action get in the shower.

Shower for everyday, bubble baths for special occassions! Especially a jacuzzi bubble bath. Mmm.

I said bath, but I don't really know, since I haven't had a bathtub in as long as I can remember.

But whenever I see pictures of myself as a baby covered in soap bubbles, I always look extremely happy, so I expect I like baths much more, and I can't wait until the day that I acquire a bath so I can take one.

Shower, but sometimes it really is tempting to take a bath, but I don't have one :(

my bath is far too small for comfort...plus a shower seems healthier to me, though it probably isn't.

To wash, I take showers.

In the mode of relaxation, I grab a novel and candles and turn the water on hot, basking in the heat and steam of a hot bath for the next two hours.

I take a bath every couple of months. Just lay there in the hot water. Gotta have tons of bubbles too. It works best when you use dish soap.

Usually I shower.

I take baths very rarely. Every few months, I guess. They're great for relaxing, and I usually read or listen to music or something. But for getting clean, showers are obviously the way to go.

Showers. I don't like baths, I find them much too quiet.

Showers. I prefer not to lounge about in my own filth. I would rather watch it go down the drain as I clean more of it off. :)

Though a nice hot bath can be quite good for relaxing your muscles. I do that occasionally, but I don't take a bath to bathe.

I haven't taken a bath in my home bathtub in at least 10 years, if not more. I've used public hot tubs, though, obviously not for cleaning myself.

Cleaning my body occurs in the shower.

I loooove baths, because my favorite thing to do is to read in the nice hot tub, but that's more for relaxing. Most of the days of the week though, I take a shower, because I need to get clean and wash my hair.

I was brought up on a bath every week :rolleyes2

Needless to say there was a time when I switched to daily and felt so much cleaner. LOL :p

Definitely prefer showers - quicker, less water used (I presume) and you don't sit around in your own muck.

On the other hand I'll take more baths in winter - it's nice and warm and relaxing. Our (my parents') shower is one of these ancient ones that only has a cold pipe running into it and a heating element inside... the more you open the tap, the colder it gets. So in the winter you have to have it dribbling to get any kind of warmth out of it, and even then it's not really bearable. When it's like that I just bathe every day so that there isn't too much dirt building up to be sat in.

Shower > bath.

I just feel cleaner that way.

I'd pick a shower, but I also like to bathe in my room with a rag and door shut because my brothers tend to be very perverted around me. -_-
