The second one should be a cinch if all of your characters have two Quickenings. Just use a good Quickening chain, and you should be able to bring him to about 20% health. Switch out your party if anyone gets X-Zoned.

You don't have to fight the first Demon Wall, just beat the second Demon Wall and finish the dungeon. If you can't beat him now, beat him later.

No, the worst is Reaver/Dragon Lich in Subterra or Necrofiend.

Deomon wall... damn it to hell! So hard... Yeah, quickenings and luck will help. But the Demonsbane is definitely worth the effort.

Run away from the first until you are at least at a level higher than Vossler.

Belias is easier than the Demon walls

i just beat the mess out of it.its easy when you use gambits.
1.allyhp=<50%-cure\cura
2.ally-any-raise\pheonix down
3.ally-any-esuna(if you have it,or you can use single status ail.gambits)
4.foe status=hp critical-atack
5.foe-any-atack

these gambits are good for fighting him.prioritise healing and killing weak enemies

I think that the most annoying monsters are the Wu and Urstix. They are so stupid looking and when they come to fight you, they act like they are the toughest thing. I HATE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hated wen i was fighting that boss thing in the Stillshrine of Mariam that made all of ur characters turtle slow. I mean it took like 20 mins for my action gauge to fill up lol. The most annoying enemy tho are the Elementals. They hav like the most hitpoints and all that is backed up wit the most powerful magik spells in the game. so its almost impossible for me to kill them.

You should avoid equipping heavy equipment. And Elementals/Entites are too easy when you get to the end of the game.

Im trying to kill the first wall, and I got it down to around 20% hp left before it rams me.......Bleed seems to work well, and I got my mist chains up to 14 ...... protect helps.

It's the Entites. I can kill them now, but only with great difficulty and a ton of Echo herbs.

My new Most Hated Thing are the bats in Henne Mine which are in the path to Zodiark. They spam Leech, which hurts you for around 2000 and heals them for the same amount, plus they have a suicide move which hurts you for about 1500 and robs you of their EXP.

I actually just hate everything in that part of the Henne Mines.

Me too! :(

Reflect works on elementals but those darn entities cast reflect proof stuff.

I ran away from those darn bats on Henne lvel 2. Too hard!!!

Sounds low!!!

You don't have to face the first Demon Wall, just flee to the other room and "tiptoe" back to the way stone after you get the Dawn shard.

Leave this pesky wall for later in the game. Or never, it is optional, I think.

Do level up a bit though. I recommend going through Ogir Yensa and Nam Yensa chaining on Urutan, until you get to the same level as Vossler.

A good rule of thumb is to level till you are the same level as your guest, so you are prepared for the next mission :D

Just 'cuz no one mentioned it (I'm sure you've gotten through that Demon Wall by now!), but as you fight the 2nd Demon Wall at least, y'know the torches along side the bridge? You can activate them to affect the fight in different ways. Might be helpful. At the risk of giving out spoilers, I will say no more.

It was something I noticed while I was in that encounter the second time I died. The third time I went through it was the last time I went through it.

i know about the torches, and that esper bellias( I think ) died so quick it was scary ( weaker than the deamon wall ), Vossler is lv 18 and i had reflect on and made a big mistake against a fire esper that casts fire.

Hihi, I did the same with Mateus. I got so eager to test it that I used it against an Ice element... Mateus casts ice elemental stuf so I just healed the fiend. DOH! :p

I have to agree, those bats are evil, you get a few of them together and it just becomes a nightmare.

My vote goes for Ultima, not only is she a pain in the ass to get to (you have no real map in that area) but she changes the field. Starts normal, becomes Hp Sap, Mp Sap, No Magicks, No Fight, No Techniques, and I know the magnet affect is in there somewhere but god... Throw in the fact that Holyja has a high chance of inflicting reverse and your own party ends up killing each other...

My second choice goes to a Rare zombie monster you may encounter in the Lhusu Mines during the "Man of Mystery" Hunt. It has close to a 100,000 hp and likes to spam holy and flare. It's incredibly fast and is immune to revive and Phoenix Downs. It's like fighting a mini boss...

Ok, the White Flanne (White Mousse, I think) from the hunts made my personal 'list' of things and people that I get to viciously slash out wih my ink brush when they're finished.

It made me run from him. This is SO not over.

Sap is like Regen, but backwards, Yojimbosoul.

And the White Mousse is no more. He met with an...unfortunate accident. An accident at the wrong end of Basch's flaming magical sword of d3th!

Oh and the worst part is that he stays close to a water elemental that is pretty tough too, at lower levels. And a bunch of Marlboro Kings ganging up on you. Hated the darn thing with a passion!

My advice is to forget about him till level 35 or so, then go in and pwn him easily and you get to say BUAHAHA like a maniac like I did :p

The Marilith and the Antlion are toughies too :(

Yeah, after I killed the White Mousse for having offended me, I realized it was a Rank V mark. Considering that it was a nearly hour long battle (which is relative because I'd get up every fifteen minutes and turn the chicken over in the oven), I'm thinking I want some more levels before I go on to the other rank V's.

But y'know what? It was -so- worth it.

Heh, I remember going after the White Mousse at lv 16.... I felt very, very sorry when I walked into the chambers and noticed the monsters were so high in level.

And then I didn't run away!
Instead my sister grabbed the controller and ran me deeper in...
Then I had to run away from the White Mousse of doom, went completely the wrong way, and....It was a mess. :D

This boss was easy. Just stop it from going so quick by the torches on the sides. Then hit it with quickenings.
