So whats your stance on spoilers? Do you avoid them like the pest, or do you actively seek them out? Do you think a book or movie loses part of its appeal if you know how its going to end?

Personaly, I never understood why some people make such a big deal out of having something spoiled. When reading books, I often read the last page first to see which characters will survive to the end, I also always read the recap for the next Lost episode before it airs, etc. Having something spoiled never made me like the work any less.

If a work is no longer enjoyable because it has been spoiled, then it is not a "good" work.

Other--I hate being spoiled, and I don't seek them out, but when they're there I can't help myself anyway.

I enjoy the surprises that can be spoiled by knowing what will happen ahead of time.

I can't stand spoilers, and seeing one which some idiot put for Lost the other day on a forum without any warning has irritated me no end. I don't want to know these things before they happen, ruins the surprise.

I don't really like spoilers, but I'm not going to stay off of the internet either. So when I find a spoiler I don't care.

Sometimes, I adamently refuse to look at spoilers. Other times I search out and read spoiler for a show that I am currently watching. As in, it's on the television and maybe on a commercial break I'll look for spoilers to see what happens next because I'm just THAT impatient to know what happens. I'm weird. :p

i usually don't bother with them. unless i'm aprehensive about a movie, tv show, etc and want to know if it's worth the time to bother watching. most of the time i just go without though
