The EoFF Post Newspaper (http://eoffpost.akusui.net/news.php)

Her Majesty's Agent Umaro here. Six, oh whoa, six; I always die a little of happiness when I realize that we make another issue successfully, every one of them becoming milestones that have never yet been surpassed. I have always been glad to make this project possible, amazed that we got it off the ground, and laughing at the accuracy of one of N's negligible remarks in Issue 01's thread. The comment was insignificant, but man, does it hold true.

I hope you guys like Issue 06, because it is pretty damn awesome. We have new recruits, in the form of Azar, Christmas, and Resha, meaning new content, in the form of a retro game spotlight column, a new comic in the entertainment section, and a review column that does not necessarily cover music. The senior staff produces quality work this month, with an interview with Award Guy, an article that is filled with Shlup, and even the holidays get some limelight from a gamer's point of view. In the back, Pauper, the former EoFF Reporter, has another pointed, er, point to make in his Viewpoints column, and I am sure that there will be a row over that. The editorials, in the back as well, may either too wordy or too concise, but I think they serve their purposes well enough. All in all, I think it has been a rather solid compilation of work. Cheers to the team behind it!

The Staff
Lynx (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=9019), Editor - Having recovered from his internet withdrawal that no one probably noticed, Lynx is back in action, making sure that the EoFF Post rolls out safely and wholly.
Neel (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=300), Editor - A little dead from having to oversee last month's issue by himself and from a silly thing called "school work", N returns to yelling at other people, a job he loves.
foa (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=9192), News Reporter - Misfire switches guns this round, instead interviewing Award Guy for an awesome piece rather than doing her usual news reporting antics.
Rye (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=6473), News Reporter - Rye pleases this editor by shacking up with ShlupQuack to have wild, craz--er, produce an article. Good article too, I must say.
Loony BoB (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=22), Staff News Reporter - Our inside source to the happenings of the fora staff at Eyes on Final Fantasy, BoB sneaks us the inside scoop before it ever hits the public announcements.
Behold the Void (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=8461), Reviewer - Void helps those gamers who are confused by the holiday shopping madness with a guide of what they should get their fellow players or put on their own wishlist.
Azar (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=11969), Reviewer - New to the newspaper, Azar brings both another gaming column and some retro style to the table.
Resha (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=10409), Reviewer - One of the new recruits is this sweet young lady, and Resha is ready to prove her worth with an indepth review of Jack Kerouac’s "On the Road".
Dignified Pauper (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=12303), Opinion Writer - Even more controversial since his ban, Pauper makes a stand against babies. Don't we all hate babies?
Del Murder (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=1390), Jumbler - Our resident Jumbler cuts up with another brainteasing puzzle; always a treat for the members who want to use their brain more often.
Elyse (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=237), EoFFsearcher - To go along with FFV's new release, Elyse gives us all a wordsearch for one of the best Final Fantasys out there.
Old Manus (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=10496), Cartoonist - Reliable and dependable, Manus proves that he can always be counted upon for not just another comic, but another damn good comic.
Christmas (http://forums.eyesonff.com/member.php?u=15004), Cartoonist - Having shown off her work plenty of times on the fora, Christmas joins the Post with proof that she has what it takes.

Cool. Why is Okami spelt Ookami?"Ookami" means "wolf", so BtV must have been thinking that whilst he typed up that article. I missed that, because I do not play games much. Will fix! Thanks.

In Del Murder's "word jumble" there is an "N" missing from the first jumbled word. :)

I have a confession to make: I had not played Sudoku until yesterday night. We do not have puzzles in this issue, so I was solving ones in the Black Belt Sudoku book. It is the only one that my girlfriend Clarissa has, so I did not realize until two hours later that all the puzzles in it are considered "super tough". I just thought, "Oh, it's just a second edition of a Sudoku book series." Ha! I only managed to complete two puzzles so far, and I am loving it. I hope I can talk N into doing some more for the next issue.

For Rye's article, didn't Unne come back to staff once?

Twice actually.

Nice avatar, Raist. :)

For Rye's article, didn't Unne come back to staff once?

Couldn't you have told me that when I asked you to check over it? :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

I think you just decided to wait to show off my flaw because you're scathed and upset by the words of Shlup and I. :jess:

Also, don't lie, we know that you're just keeping that avatar because it tickles your fancy in special ways. ;]

This issue was good. I really liked Old Manus's comic. Overall, I give this issue a 9/10 :D (even though I'm not in a place to judge this e-newspaper, but it's a damn compliment so take it)

I also thought Marick's editorial was spot on, even though I wished he would've talked a bit more about it, but oh well.

Well, unless something is heavily wrong with me (which is, by the way, an option to take in consideration), there is an article in this (6th) issue called "Jumbles With Del Murder!" labeled as Entertainment, in which you're supposed to unjumble chunks of letters into EoFF member names.

Well, as far as I can tell, in the first letter chunk there is 9 letters to be placed on 10 blanks, but with an extra "N" the whole puzzle can be solved (inducing only minor confuzzelation, if Del Murder pardons). :)

Yeah, that would have been sarcasm, Ranti. It has been corrected already.

I refuse to correct Rye's mistake, though, so more people can pick on her for it. :|

You solved the real puzzle, which was to find that mistake. Congratulations!

Two things:

1) Award Guy can forward me all the interviews he had with someone not on the newspaper staff and it would do no good unless I cared enough, because Award Guy has no say as to what goes into this publication and neither do you.

2) If you looked for it, you can see that it is indeed there (http://eoffpost.akusui.net/readarticle.php?article_id=98), you *snip*. I thought it was amusing enough to include.
